My fiance was the first one arrived there, he was on their ar 6:45 at the Embassy. There wasn't anybody there. He entered the Embassy building at 7 after the security asked him about his interviewed letter. after he enter the Embassy, there was an egyptian lady ask him about 1-134 tax form of me. so my fiance told her that "i have send everything you guys need". Then she said "no" and then she said "your fiance have to send it to us as soon as she can". And she asked him to renew his medical exam especially the TB test and his criminal records because both of them only 3 months to be expired. but thanks to god my fiance renew both of them the whole medical exam and the criminal records 2 days before the interview date.

The questions asked of my fiance were very similar to the others reported. The officer was very professional, friendly and courteous. Still waiting for the visa to be delivered to him.

Overall, my boyfriend said his interview was great. He said the lady at the front desk of the embassy was a little rude, but most people who are at the front line of a busy office seem to have a bit of attitude He waited about 3 hours before he was called for his interview. He said the officer was very pleasant, and the interview felt more like a casual conversation than a formal process. The officer asked about:
- our relationship
- his career
- his time in the U.S.
- my family
I think that covers most of the topics. Most of the questions were actually very open-ended/general questions. He didn't ask many questions looking for specific details. He seemed very confident in the legitimacy of our relationship and situation, which was nice. I know it would have been difficult if he had major doubts about us.
My boyfriend's TB test will expire before the extend of his visa, so unfortunately, he is requi... read complete review

My husband was in front of the Embassy around 7AM. He went in around 7:30. He met up with a woman, who told him to pay for DHL and gave him the originals back. He then waited a couple of hours. He eventually met up with an American CO who asked him several of "easy" questions, all about me (Was your wife previously married? Is she currently in the US? Which state? Where does she work? What does she do?). My husband told me that the guy was smiling, and was on the computer the whole entire time. My husband offered to show him our pictures, but the CO declined. He ended up giving my husband a piece of paper saying that extra processing is required and to check the case online. I am assuming that we were approved, since my husband ended up signing the form and his fingerprints were taken. AND they took his passport. We are hoping for the best, insha'Allah khir.

In a nutshell an awful experience for my husband. The officer (Mr. Herb) was very rude and condescending to my husband. He told him our 2.5 year relationship was a "shame for him" and it was "awful" and he accused my husband of knowing me to just come to the usa.
Questions asked
Where did you "pick up" your wife?
Why do you know your wife?
What do you plan to do in the usa?
Where did you meet your wife?
You only know your wife to go to the usa, dont you?
Result, in the end the officer didnt look at all of my financial documents that i sent in with my husband to show my current financial status. The NVC instructed me to send in my current letter of emoyment as well all my current paystubs to show my current financial situation. I sent my adult sons signed 864 as even more guarantee putting my income at 40k a year. And
HE ASKED FOR A JOINT SPONSER.....
Thinking ill send in what he DIDNT look a... read complete review
