In the beginning i really would like to thank VJ members for their support.
my interview was 8th of march at 8:30 i arrived super early like 5:30 am and they defiantly didn't let me in until it was 6:30 am. I've been the second on the left line " immigrants line " after the regular checks from the guard and the then the Egyptian assistant we got inside after the second check inside the embassy i was lucky to get the first number " No 600 " waited onside for like 15 mins or something and my number has been called to window 14 " an Egyptian young girl " asked me in -Arabic how/when did we meet ? and what do we do ? then she asked about my cellphone number and my email " something weird happened here when told is this your facebook email i told her that I'm not on Facebook she was typing on the computer and suddenly stopped and stared to me saying are you for real no one doesn't have Facebook nowadays ?? i assumed that she was trying to confuse me tho so i responded HYG you met the... read complete review

First of all i thank God and thanks so much for everyone who helped me in this whole process.
My interview was at 8:30 a.m and i arrived 8:10 a.m then after the guy outside checked if i have appointment letter and 2 pictures, he asked me to stand in the line for immigrant visas.
15 minutes later i have entered the embassy and given a number, 30 minutes later my number called and an Egyptian lady collected my originals she needs for the interview as i read here before i saw the package that nvc sent to the embassy and stole a look while she opens the envelope and saw that my application stamped as approved. So i relaxed a little bit.
1:30 hours later my number called again for interview and it was at window 14, found a very polite and cheerful American male in his 30s, he welcomed me and asked what languages i speak so told him both Arabic and English, then he started the interview by making me swear that everything is right and i did then, he asked me just 2 simple... read complete review

My interview was on JAN 31 at 7:30 A.M , my wife attended with me .
It was the easiest part in the whole process .
We arrived at the embassy at 6:40 , we were stopped in front of the embassy with all applicants (the immigrants and the non - immigrants) , then on 7.03 we were called to make 2 lines on the embassy's two sides, be attention to avoid any delays as happened with many people on this day ( THE FAR LINE ON YOUR LEFT HAND IS FOR IMMIGRANTS ) , try to be ready to be in the first three applicants , so you will be out of the embassy approximately at 9:30 .
As known all people were warned to leave any electronics , lighters , .... .
WE WENT WITH OUR MOBILES , MONEY , ONE BIG PACKAGE CONTAINED EVERY SINGLE PAPER .
We were n.2 in the line , we were told to prepare passports , appointment letter , aramex paper , and 2 passport style photos , then in kind words and smiles our documents were checked and finally we became in the embassy building . ... read complete review

First of all, I want to thank everyone who helps by asking, answering or submitting reviews.... It may be few words for you but it means a lot of help for everybody else.
It was pretty much the usual interview recently at Cairo embassy for CR1 people.
- Arrived with my wife at the embassy by 7am, they kept us away from the gate on the other side till 7:30am when they told us to get into two rows on each side of the gate ... the one on your left (the far one) is for immigrant visas.
{{{Be early but not earlier than 6:45am --- Don't take any electronics or wires at all .. NOTHING! except for the mobile which you will give to the security inside the embassy --- make sure you have recent photos and the aramex paper or the people outside will cost you hundreds of pounds in vain}}}
- Security guy will check for your appointment then your aramex paper and photos .. if something is not right or not available he will direct you to go do it
if all good you wil... read complete review
