So we got there at 0530 and where let in around 0630. Our appointment was t until 8 but we heard horror stories of being there all day. So pretty .uch you go thru security. Once you go thru the metals tetors your asked to have a seat in rows. This determines the number your given. So really havi h an appointment time is irrelevant here. Once you get a nu ber your asked to wait in line to be seen at the first window. There they will collect your medical, Acta and Police Record. Then they asked me (the petitioner) the validate my mailing addresses. They then asked my fiance a few question. What was my name, how long have we known each other and the little girl that was with us was she our daughter and how old. He then said ok have a seat by 19 or 20 which was the booths. We sat there till our number was called about 20 mins I say. Once we approached the wi de she asked my fiance (beneficiary) was I present..I was trying to gather the baby so he approached the window before me . She gree... read complete review

Our appointment time was 7:00. We arrived at 6:30. We went through security and then waited outside for our row to be called into the building where we were directed to a window. My fiancé was asked for his passport, buena conducta paper, and birth certificate. We waited at the window for 10 minutes and were then given a number and a paper about domestic violence. (That’s standard now) and proceeded to the next waiting area in front of a row of windows. We waited for an hour and our number was called. The lady that interviewed us was friendly, she asked in which languages we wanted to conduct our interviews in. My fiancé was asked his name, when and how we met, why he was denied for a previous tourist visa and his occupation. She asked me my name, when and how we met, if I felt that my fiancé’s lack of english will hinder our future together and wanted to know about our wedding plans, she then stated “Tu visa es aprobado, felicidadesâ€.. we are very ha... read complete review

We had interview today Nov 1 at 7am. We arrived to the embassy around 6:30am and when directly to the security check for the line of 7am. We waited about 2 hours from the moment we arrived until we were asked to enter for pre interview and to get the number. In the first window, they ask my spouse for his birth certificate, divorce certificate and passport. She asked some questions about my spouse parents name and last names. Then after that, she attempted to request documents from me but then later said it was fine and asked us to go to the waiting area on the other side where the interviews take place. We waited for about an hour until we were called again.
Questions to my spouse:
How do you meet?
Help me to understand why your divorce was close to the date your met
What do you do for work?
Do you live alone?
How many visit to the us?
Have you live in another country for over a year?
Which other country have you visited... read complete review

Had an overall good experience. I chipped my ankle bone a few days before my trip and appointment at the embassy. So I went to the Dominican Republic with crutches and my leg wrapped up.
My appointment was at 7 am. When I arrived at 6 there were a lot of people ahead. A nice officer got me a wheelchair and moved me the front of the line. We were given a number and asked to stand in front of a window so we can give my fiancé’s passport and birth certificate. Once we did that we had to sit down and wait to be called after like 15 mins, they called us. 2 ladies were there it seemed like one was training the other. They asked what language would we like the interview to be done and I side Spanish. She asked a lot of questions give our take. They asked the following:
- what are your names
- how old are we
To my boyfriend - how did we meet?, how did I live with?, how old is my son and if he had meet him. What do we do for fun, do you have kids ... read complete review
