Consulate officers very adversarial. We each spoke to 3 different officers and ended up with the "supervisor" Said not sure if our relationship was a valid one although refused to look at 15 months worth of phone records and 7 months of transcripts from conversations on MSN Messenger telling me I could buy them "around the corner". At the end stated that he thought we "might" have a valid relationship but that he wanted some criminal records for a 13 year old conviction of misdemeanor assault and battery. Even though these were submitted with the I-129-F he said he didn't have them and said to bring them to consulate and Homeland Security would check them out and the consulate would contact us in 2-3 weeks.Over 4 weeks now and nothing. My attorney sent an e-mail to the State Depatment in Washington for help with what he says is a non existant issue. Over 7 hours at consulate. Horrible experience!!!!

I called for information at 1-877-804-5402 ($7/call) several times to tell them that we hadn’t received the package about 3 weeks before our interview on the 20th of September. They told us that they had regulations that a duplicate package can only be petitioned by them 10 days before the interview date. I was like WHATTTTTTTT, ARE YOU CRAZY. I didn’t win the battle and she ended up having to go get a duplicate package at the embassy on Sep 13th. At this point Im almost sure the medical exam results wouldn’t be ready for the 20th, and I was right.
The day of the interview we had all required info except the medical exam results, but we had researched that it would be ok the get interviewed the on the 20th and that a response would be pending and t... read complete review
