So I went to the showed my passport to the security directed me to the gate. When I had to wait for 1-2 in the sun. Because I was not let in the gate. So I was upset they called the head consulate officer he apologized for what happen gave him my case information. They he left for 10 minutes with a pass and list that they had change my fiancée interview for April 24th without any notification. But he want ahead and gave me an interview April 29th at 8:00 a.m. so we arrived the next day did not wait in line went straight to the gate and they took our paper work and we paid for the visa they went in another room, waited for 10 minutes then we were called up. I will start by saying what my husband took to the interview and then give an overview of the interview itself. He took in an expanding file with all his forms and evidence filed, by section, inside. He took in the DS156, DS156k, DS230 Part I and II, etc. He also took: photos with photocopies in case they wanted to keep the originals (although they didn't), photocopies of my passport stamps with my trips to Cuba, photocopies of my plane tickets, phone records, records of the times I recharged his phone from here, his medical exam, the affidavit of support, police clearance letter, his "certificado de solteria", his birth certificate, and his passport. All of the evidence was from the date we filed the I-129f until the interview date.
As for the interview, this is second hand information from my husband as I did not go to the interview with him. He arrived at the park at about 6:30 in the morning. At about 7:00 AM, the officers started calling the applicants by name and,... read complete review

So we got there early, wait for officers to come, wait for names to be called- all the same start as other reviews (see cuba reviews here: http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?cnty=Cuba&cty=&dfilter=5&topic=K1+Visa )
When we got inside, we handed our paperwork at one window (I was nervous about the affidavit of support papers, but they didn't ask any questions about that) and then went to another to pay the 240 CUC. I wish I had known we could pay 240 USD because that would have been better/easier, but I didn't know that was an option so we payed the 240 cuc, got a receipt and went back to our paperwork window to give it the him. He gave us a laminated pink little card with a number on it and told us to go into the waiting room to wait until that number is called.
When our number was called, we both went up to the desk and were interviewed together. Our interview la... read complete review

So sorry for taking so long to write my review. I figured that this is the fastest way to answer all the questions of all those who have emailed me these past days.
On the day of the interview my fiancé arrived at 5:00 am to the park located in front of the Interest Section. From there he waited till 7:00am, that's when they started to call all the applicants who had interview that day. My fiancé was the last person to be called. From there they formed a line and waited to reach the security point where they collected everybody's belongings. From there he went inside of the building where two ladies took his fingerprints and collected his passport and his ds156 and ds156k, then onto another two ladies who took the 240 cuc and all the evidence. Now, regarding the forms...he was only asked for the ds156, ds156k first, and then the first part of the ds230 at the time of the interview. That's it! No affidavit was required, although he took it to the interview with the correspondi... read complete review
