Important for the petitioner to attend the pre interview meeting.
The immigration officer talked with me for 20 minutes and was typing the whole time we were talking.
At the interview she was already approved. The interview took only 5 minutes and they never looked at 1 page of documentation.
Good luck to all

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR ALL ON VJ TO PROVIDE THIS INFO TO HELP THOSE FOLLOWING BEHIND YOU. I STRONGLY URGE EACH ONE OF YOU TO DO SO. WE ALL NEED
THE HELP AND OTHER NOTES BY OTHERS HERE HELPED DORA AND ME GET A PINK!!
Dora,(my fiancee) arrived about 6:15AM for her 7:15AM interview. There were about 100 people in line. Once inside gave all P-4 forms,I-134 and other items (not married doc and police report of no crimes) to a person to review. (do not believe this was a VO.) He asked if she wanted to speak English and she said yes, but please ask the VO to speak slowly. Had finger prints taken and took an oath swearing to tell truth in response to VO questions. Waited about 30 minutes when her name was called. Dora placed a big stack of our proof of relationship on the counter and the VO (a young handsome American man) asked the following questions:

2.) How many times did he come to visit you in China

We were DENIED, by the Visa Officer. I was NOT present in Guangzhou, as I should have been. My Rongling was intimidated, and we were summarily DENIED. We have since gotten married in China, and are now pursuing the K-3 visa.
I am furious and angry at MY own country, for this denial.

We had three people during the interview process.
1. (VERY ANGRY ) Chinese Lady that was just tolerable. (Everyone we spoke with reported that she was this way. Including the very next day. I do not know why they have her working at this position.
Wife made it through this process and was very surprised.
2. An American Lady took the finger Prints.
The American Lady was very polite and very nice.
3. An American Man did the interview.
The American Man was very polite and nice.
Asked how we met, about our marriage, when it was and if we had pictures, We had two albums of pictures. Asked how many times I had visited. I had visited Six times. He was surprised I visited the number of times I did. It was a very pleasant interview.
We were v... read complete review

went in with high hopes, had everything we could need. she was the last one interviewed and received white!! inspite of all our emails, phone and chat records pictures, they did not beleive we had a 'bona-fide' relationship. i followed up on monday in th USA citizen session but was told only that the disscion could not be over turned. the only thing we could do was wait for the case to be returned to the states and appeal or reapply.
