My wife arrived there as almost last in the line. I can see through her QQ mobile phone. The temperature is 88F. She turned in the documents and the Chinese lady ask if I had file taxes with my father. My wife told her that she didn't knew and I haven't said anything about taxes. My wife gotten a appointment for the next day at 0730. My mother in law was knitting at the 3rd Floor, lol.

Called my wife and said she is at the middle of the line. I called her at 0952 and said she had pass. She said the VO is very social guy and only asked two questions. First is how did we meet and second is who is this person's name (my father). He gave her the white paper and took the passport. My wife noted they also speak Taishanese.

My finacee's interview was on August 24. I was not able to attend it with her since I will accompany her to the U.S. on 9/14 so I don't have a lot of details. She said the the interview went fairly well but the woman interviewing her asked many more questions than she had expected. The entire interview was in English, which was no problem except that the interviewer tended to talk very rapidly. The majority of the questions she asked were about our Ex spouses and my family. The only additional papers she asked for were the tax returns (copies of 3 years returns)and then for the recent pictures of us together. The pictures( only about 7) were attached to a piece of paper with a description of who, and where, the picture was taken. The interviewer even "quizzed" my finacee about certain pictures describing them and then asking her where they were taken. Overall, the experience at GUZ went very smoothly and she was told that she should receive her visa within one week.

The interview went fine, but was put on "Administrative Review/Process". This took a month and in the end fiance and 14 year old daughter had to take another 20 hour train ride to Guangzhou for daughters finger printing and to turn in their passports after visa was approved. No telling why they held it up. The daughter needed finger prints because she turn 14 the day after the interview. I wish the VO would have seen this up front and had her prints done the first time around.
All in all not a bad experience, but the Admin. Process/Review didn't seems to be necessary.
I will give a 3 rating because of that. More aggravation and cost.

My wife had her visa approved today, so I am writing a summary before I forget.
We arrived in Guangzhou 2 days ahead. And I went in the Citizen service to get my EOR letter notarized. Paid 50 bucks. Turns out this is useful. (read below)
Nothing much to say about the doc-intake.
On the interview day, we got there 6:15am and there were already 50 people there. Later 2 lines become 5 lines and my wife was told to wait on the 2nd batch (those whose P4 letter didn't have a little green token attached after the Doc-intake, I don't know what difference does this make).
I got up to the 4th floor and I was turned down, so I sit at the coffee shop and waited (3 hours wait). It seems most people got their visa approved. When my wife came out she told me the VO asked the following questions (the VO speaks perfect chinese, and asked all questions in chinese):
1. give me your documents, my wife give him her passport, my passport, m... read complete review
