We dressed up in business casual and got there a couple hours early (5am) and were politely shooed away by the guards. They seemed to allow people to begin queueing up around 6. We wound up 6th in line. We passed inside without issues, they retained my fiancees identity card and my drivers license (attending sponsor) in exchange for visitor badges. I noticed that several attendees weren't allowed to bring their document containers in - our accordion folder with report folders inside was fine.
We sat down waiting for window 7 to open (labeled cashier, though we had paid our fees in advance via Aceleda bank) and collected our number - it seemed numbers in the 800 series were for immigrant and fiancee visas. The next step was to hand over all our documentation - the report folders we'd put most of our docs into could slide under the glass, but our longer chat history which was in a thin 3-ring binder was too rigid. We had broken our chat ... read complete review

Arriving around 6am at US embassy in Phnom Penh.
Waiting around 7am before the check-in window opens on the left long side of the building. Going thru security: no cell, no food, only clear bag to carry documents, they issues a green slip with time of arrival and progression list of your case. Went to another security check-point. Finally waiting room. We were the 3rd couple of waiting line. Windows 7 is the first window that everybody needs to go to get a ticket. We been bounced through windows to submit our case, our evidence (emails, Skype chat, video logs, pictures etc...) fingerprinted, as my fiancee was told to do.
Our interview happened on windows 2. The lady officer is so helpful, so friendly and nice. I dressed up in tie. SO begins the interview:
She asked my fiancee:
1-How did we get to know each other? The person who contacts me, does she speak Khmer? How did she meet my mother?
2-Have you met my parents? Have you chat with my mother? ... read complete review

First, I just want to say thanks to Visa Journey and all the members who had help me. I don't know how I would have done it without this forum.
Me and my fiancé had our interview today 4/28/2016 at the Phnom Penh embassy. We arrived at the embassy at around 6:00am and were 2nd in line waiting outside the embassy. They started letting people inside at 7:00am and were directed to go to window 7 to sit and wait to get our number. At 7:30am window 7 open up and we were 2nd in line. Around 8am they called our number to come to the window to hand in our documents. Then were told to wait for our number to be called again for fingers print. Then at around 8:30 or so, they called our number for fingers print. Once that is done was told to come and wait again until they call our number one last time for the interview. Finally around 9am it was our turn for our interview. Me and my fiance went to the window together and the consular officer started asking questions right away... read complete review

My wife is the beneficiary and I am the petitioner. Due to work I was not able to be there with her for the interview (Petitioner does not need to be present).
Our interview was set for 7:30am and she arrived early around 6am. There were already long line awaiting to enter the US Embassy at that time. The gate was open around 7am to let those that were waiting to enter.
Upon entering the embassy she was called to Window 5, 8 and 3. Each window was designated for different purpose. The first window was to collect documents, the second was to do biometrics (fingerprint) and the third was the actual interview. The enter itself was through a glass partition where the CO was on one side and she was on the other.
The questions the CO my wife are listed below...our interview was at 7:30am and she finished around 10:30am with Visa Approval.
1) What year did your husband immigrated to the USA?
2) What ... read complete review
