The process wasn't too bad just make sure your paperwork is complete and correct. I left one box unchecked which required me to refill out a form with an original signature. I was eventually able to get this waived and changed by the deputy consular who personally reviewed the case. The Embassy personnell have been extremely helpful. I had issues with translations and they allowed my Fiance to call them directly to be assured we were going to an approved document translator. They went above an beyond when I informed hem I had a flight leaving for the us in a week and a half, they put my Fiance visa on a fast track so we could spend some time together in the USA before I head back to work. The interview itself was only 15 minutes and only 4-5 questions were asked.

For us things went pretty smooth. They asked me a few questions about Theary like where we meet why I want to marry here how many times I had come to visit her. then they interview her they asked about My work how much money I made how long I have worked there what I did for work. Then they asked how we meet if she knew about my kids and if she knew my ex wife name (why I dont know). Interview lasted about 15 minutes. The only issue we had was we brought her son to the interview but not pictures of him younger so we had to go home and get pictures of them when he was younger or do a dna test. I would suggest if you have kids involved to do the dna test about a month in advance or bring pictures with you.
Long story short we were approved that day, after we brought the evidence they wanted.
We were the lucky ones there was one couple I talked to they have been trying for 3 yrs it was their 4th interview. Not sure if they got approved they were told to come back a few d... read complete review

My fiance failed her interview this month (October 2011). They claimed our relationship was a sham. My fiance fumbled a few questions because she was nervous. The CO was a bit rude and made thinly veiled accusations. Overall we are both very disappointed and we are not sure what to do next.

7:00 a.m. - doors to embassy opened
she comes out about ten minutes later because one of the other interviewees said that they had more fees to pay so we head to the bank to get some money to let her have in her pocket just in case
I decide to try going in and they let me in. About twenty five people or so in the main room for interviews also. I speak English and Khmer so I'm able to listen to everything.
After taking a number, she's asked to go to a window and is asked a few basic questions and then told to sit again. This was just the pre interview where the lady looked over all the paperwork and made sure everything was ready to go.
The interview took place around eleven o'clock.
They asked her about my address, company I worked for, how much I brought in monthly from work, what I like to do on my time off, how we communicated, who introduced us and that was it. She did it in English because I don't trust ... read complete review
