So, my husband went to the interview, on time, dressed well. He had a huge file folder of organized documents. However, the interviewer was confrontational from the beginning it seems. I am a foreigner, we have an age difference where I'm older. The interviewer made derisive comments about the fact that I was divorced (Said it repeatedly and loudly so the whole waiting room could hear), got furious when my husband asked him to repeat a question he didn't hear properly, and scoffed when my husband told him I was a nurse practitioner. Interviewer said, its the same thing as a nurse.... um actually, no, it's NOT. He actually laughed at my husband when he said I had a masters degree. Wow, way to be professional. Then he didn't tell him anything about the outcome of the interview, wouldn't look at any of our photos or documents, while at the same time insinuating our marriage was B.S. ?! This is sad. Hi, Can anyone please share their interview experiences at Bangladesh US Embassy recently?? My case is still processing at NVC.. can anyone tell me how long does NVC takes to sent case to Bangladesh Embassy and how long do they take to schedule interview after the completion of the case.. Please help!!

My interview was scheduled for 10:15 am in Dhaka US Embassy. I've arrived at the Embassy 8:45. They won't let you in up to 30 minutes before the interview. I was aware of this so we went to a coffee shop nearby. Chilled there and had a chocolate Frappe lol.
At 09:50 am we reached the Embassy. The security let me in after checking the interview letter. A handbag is allowed for us ladies. And they check everything twice. So do not take any electronics with you.
Once in we first hand the interview letter to this dude (bangladeshi officer) at the first reception point he will keep the first page and return the rest. He also provided a page to create this online profile where you select where you'd like your passport to be collected.
You then sit and wait. My name was first called at around 11:10 (only cause I was one of the final few to enter the Embassy for that time slot)
