Everything went smoothly. The interviewer was super cool. It problably lasted something like 10 minutes, maybe not even that.
He asked me:
How and When we met
What does she do for a living
Do I know her parents? Does she know mine?
Wedding plans?

My fiance, Marco, and I used the previous reviews of the Buenos Aires embassy to help us prepare for his interview, and we found everything to be just as expected. Things moved very smoothly, and all of the embassy officials he interacted with were very friendly and helpful.
He only brought with him the original copies of the documents that were needed (They are listed in the email they send you inviting you for your interview). You did not need to bring all of the previous documents.
The actual interview itself was very casual. They asked the questions he expected; "How did you meet?" "Have you meet her family?" "When did you last see each other?" All very conversational. They did ask him some questions about his flight plans and our wedding plans, but it wasn't an issue that we didn't have any real plans made at that time since we were waiting on his visa approval.
Marco did unfortunately not have one of his vaccines properly dated, so w... read complete review

Had the interview today, it all went great =) Went alone because my fiancé couldn't make it, only had to give them my older passports and a tax form we were missing on package 3. I brought extra pictures asides from the ones I gave them on the package but they didn't take them and said they already had everything.
The interview was quick and painless, the consul was very nice, it was like a casual conversation more than an interview. They asked me a few questions:
1. How we met
2. His parents's and sister's names.
3. What my fiancé does and since when. Also what I do.
4. Our plans for the wedding
And that was it, he told me my visa was approved right after. Asides from those questions, I gave pretty long answers so I talked about other things too. He mentioned my denied tourist visa and the approved one I got later too, but not as a question.
So for anyone that has to go, don't be nervous!

The lady that takes your paperwork is very rude. All through the process I had been asked for a "Marriage Certificate" and I had provided it, at no point was I told my cert was not the correct one (as this country has a second type of cert called an Act).
Friday before the interview I got an email stating that I need my Marriage Act instead. At that point, the place where I'd get that was closed, and my interview was first thing Monday morning so I didn't have the time to get there. I had to have the interview without the paperwork. When the lady asked for all the paperwork and I mentioned I didn't have that she got defensive with me and acted like her email on Friday had been a favor and I should have read the instructions more carefully in the first place. I had the paperwork to prove her wrong, but figured there was no point to it, so I let her talk to me in the most condescending tone she could muster. She also scolded me for not knowing that every document that is i... read complete review

The interview was very good and fast. We had our appointment set at 9am, we arrived at the Embassy at 8:30am (we have planned to arrive earlier but we have a hard time finding a place to park the car, finally we left it at the parking lot of "La Rural".) A girl who was at the entrance asked us about our case, when we said we where there for an immigrant visa she told us to go to Window 1, there they asked for a photo of each (only for the applicants, they didn't asked me anything as a USC), once we gave the photos we were asked to wait a for a moment, after 10 minutes they called us again, they gave us the famous green folder and said we could come in.
We went through Security and after that to get my husband fingerprints taken, we must said that, at every step they reminded us we didn't need to wait in any lines. In the waiting room we put our documents in the folder and when we were finishing an agent call us to Window 5. She asked for every document and after some do... read complete review
