Hello everybody,
I'm writing to just people of the K1,who have been through the adminisitrative processing here in Algiers, and the interviewer unfortunately was this blonde officer.
I'm all sure if she was your interviewer sho would deny your visa,or mostly put it under administrative processing.
In this case, you shouldn't contact an immigration attorney because they would just take your money and do nothing for you.
Like in Ghani Situation" K3",this blonde officer keeps playing with couples with using this administrative processing which might take even years, and with this process they freeze any action from your side to use lawyers or anybody to help you.
This officer for instance was insulting me,almost calling me a liar, yelling at me,insulting my fiancée,and getting in so personal stuffs.
Your solutions is:WRITE TO THE CONGRESSMAN,i mean SENATOR OF YOUR STATE,COMPLAIN ABOUT HER,because surely many people do that.
It's a federal case... read complete review

Right now my opinion of the Algerian consulate is very low! Ghani went for his interview today and was turned away because he didn't have enough money. He took the amount of money that was listed in our Packet 3 and then some but it wasn't enough because they raised the rate and didn't inform anyone that it had been done. They had both his and my emails and phone numbers. Now we get to stress out and lose sleep and worry for another week because of someone there's complete ignorance.

Friendly people working at the embassy. They made things very easy for my wife. She was told that her visa will be within a week. Two days later, she got her visa.

My husband says the woman who interviewed him was pleasant. She is from MN and knew the location of one of his previous employers. They joked about that, and then she got down to business. She asked when is the last time we saw eachother, about our son's heart condition, and about my husband's work authorization in the US.
He had to file 601 and 212 waivers. We had the packets ready, but because I will assume Algeria doesn't have a lot of waiver cases she was pretty confused. It took her a couple hours to figure everything out. In the end, they took the packet and told him it could take up to a year for a response.
After a fairly short round of background checks(3 months) his file was sent to Rome and we were approved 6 months later. The embassy was extremely helpful in this final stage. They notified my husband by phone of his waiver approvals and always responded to my emails in a couple days....sometimes in a matter of hours. Visa was avail... read complete review

The interview was horrible! The blonde lady who interviewed my husband yelled at him the whole time and accused him of lying. His visa was denied. It has been a horrible experience! No request for additional proof, no explanation why we were denied NOTHING!! We have been married almost 10 months and possible have to start all over. Shouldn\'e people who are married and love each other be together???????
