For my wife everything went well at the interview. The officer ask her only two questions. How did you meet your husband and how many times did you travel. Nothing else. And she said your visa is approved. Finally. Thanks god this process is over

Our case was really off the embassy was really diligent when our case first got there. They would get back to us within 24hrs for everything. We submitted our packet 3 and all was well. We set up the interview with no issues. My fiance attended the interview and had no issues- the officer was american but spoke albanian well. She asked about how we had met but it was more a conversation than straight up questions like we had read in the past.
Our issues came when a document that was sent had a typo on it- ONE LETTER off. It took us almost 3 moths to clear up the issue and have them issue him the visa.
Thank God it is all over. I would love to say they were crappy but they were just doing their job.

I am the USC and my husband went to the interview alone.
He was very well prepared for the interview. He brought everything in a folder that could be asked for, he even had copies of all forms from the very beginning along with new tax transcripts I requested just in case for myself and for my brother who also filed an affidavit of support for him. He had 4 photo albums that I created on the internet throughout our relationship and had printed into photobooks, along with printed facebook pictures of each other with comments left throughout our relationship. He also had printed whatsapp conversations for a few days out of each month for about 6 months. As well as printed facetime phone logs showing that we facetimed every single day for months. He had a copy of my life insurance policy showing him as the beneficiary. He also had a photocopy of every page of my passport showing all the stamps that he also had on his passport when I visited and we drove to other countries. He also... read complete review

Very easy for me. They schedule the interview, practically you just have to send them all the documents via mail and then just show up, answer a few questions and then done! I have been to the consulate 3 other times before and i did not see anything different. If your relationship is real you dont have anything to worry about. Ju answer the questions and thats it. My questions were: How we met? What does my Fiance do for a living? How Old is he? Whats his address? What's his daughter's name? How old is she? And that's it! Good luck everyone!
