I am the USC and my husband went to the interview alone.
He was very well prepared for the interview. He brought everything in a folder that could be asked for, he even had copies of all forms from the very beginning along with new tax transcripts I requested just in case for myself and for my brother who also filed an affidavit of support for him. He had 4 photo albums that I created on the internet throughout our relationship and had printed into photobooks, along with printed facebook pictures of each other with comments left throughout our relationship. He also had printed whatsapp conversations for a few days out of each month for about 6 months. As well as printed facetime phone logs showing that we facetimed every single day for months. He had a copy of my life insurance policy showing him as the beneficiary. He also had a photocopy of every page of my passport showing all the stamps that he also had on his passport when I visited and we drove to other countries. He also had new civil documents issued for the interview because it was over a year since we applied.
He submitted everything he had to them before anything else, he sat down and waited to called. He was called for fingerprinting first. Then sat down and waited again. Then his name was called for the interview. He was interviewed by a man who already had everything that he submitted at arrival. He asked the following questions:
1. Where did you see your wife for the first time.
2. How many times has she come to visit you.
3. What does she do for work.
4. What has she done for work before.
5. Who is (my brothers name).
6. When did you get married.
7. How long has your wife been in the US. (I was born in Europe)
8. What is your profession.
The man spoke in English to him. He already had everything that was submitted but did take the new taxes, the new civil documents, a picture and looked at everything which was all returned at the end.
He said congratulations you are approved. javascript:emoticon('')
