  1. I suggest you begin contacting the schools your daughter might attend to determine their admission requirements. Many public schools will not off F-1 visa sponsorship. Good luck
  2. You might want to post this in the Canada regional forum - or perhaps a super nice moderator will move it for you. Good luck
  3. Yes, but you are unable to work in any capacity until you receive the appropriate documentation. This can take many months. Are you prepared to be supported by your wife for 6-12 months? Good luck
  4. What compelling evidence do you have to overcome the presumed immigrant intent? If you are going to the U.S. for work, you obviously have work ties to the U.S. What country will your family be applying from? Good luck
  5. Have you discussed these pros and cons with your fiancé since she is the one that will be traveling? What does she think? Also, have you seen the POE reviews? https://www.visajourney.com/reviews/poereviews.php Good luck
  6. It is possible. 2 one month trips over a span of 4 months then returning to request another 2 month trip may cause CBP to question - how can you afford so much time off of work? What ties do you have to your home country? Are you able to support yourself while in the US in terms of cost of living, insurance, etc. What ties can you bring to support that you are NOT living in the US but only visiting? Good luck
  7. Excellent point, my question should have been if an FOIA was done with the correct agency. and yes, the initial filing is free but the fees can stack up for search time, translation time or copies. Sorry I wasn’t clear.
  8. If you are concerned about the fingerprint data, you could consider a Freedom of Information Act request. It is not a quick or cheap process but that my give you the answers you are seeking. Good luck
  9. That used to be the case, but not so much now. Montreal is also a notoriously slow consulate. Good luck
  10. Very similar situation happened with me (I'm the Canadian) and I was able to visit after the 2 port of entry denials. Feel free to message me privately. I second Boiler, go the spousal visa route. Good luck
  11. The B and J visa you are referencing are non immigrant visas. Meaning that the reason you want to go to the United States is not nearly as important as the reasons you must return to your country. So focus on that, what is preventing you from staying months in the United States? Good luck
  12. He is unable to work in the united states, in any capacity, while a tourist. Good luck
  13. I think Boiler means - what does your husband do where he can take so much time off to visit you. Good luck
  14. Dashinka - as always - provided excellent advice. I do wonder, however, if you are aware that you are unable to work in any capacity until you have your employment authorization document? I only ask because you mentioned at one point returning to NZ to work as long as possible. Good luck
  15. The most helpful would be ties to Canada. What is compelling her to return to Canada? A job that can only be performed in Canada? Attending classes? A mortgage? good luck
