    I live in California and trying to go through process of medi-cal for my mom. Did you get it done? The process is so confusing. Where do you live?

      The office depends on the county you live in. I think you will be in Contra Costa. So, google for the local offices for Contra Costa. I submitted my Social Security Card and Green Card of my parents. You can go to the office and apply for her. There is a form in the packet that lets you proxy for her. Hope this helps. Good luck!.

      Thank you. Our county is Alameda county same as fremont. The help i need is filling out the form when they ask how many people in household. Do i include myself or only her?  Those are questions. 

       

      If Fremont office  is this one, then i will go there since they would have already dealt with it.

      I applied at the Alameda county office last week and got a letter in the mail with case worker name and their details. how long did it take to hear back whether medi-cal is approved from the time you applied?
