We have our AOS interview on the 6th of November. However, our first child together will be just 1 month old at that time and I'd rather not leave her with anyone. So we're opting to bring her with. My 3 y/o will be staying with my sister while we're gone. I know someone who took her daughter to their interview and just had her sit on her lap...but I wanted to know if anyone had brought a infant along for theirs. I'm really not ready to leave our daughter with anyone for that long (we'll have a 45min drive both ways plus time for the interview) and I'm hoping it won't be a problem.

Yes, we brought our then 6 week old son to the AOS interview. I do recall the interviewer saying something along the lines of them rather see people get sitters for their kids. I stated the obvious, there was just no way I'd leave my newborn baby with anyone. The older one got to stay home with grandma, but when they're small and new and breastfeeding they go where I go, period. Besides, he was evidence ;)

She wasn't nasty about it, and neither was I, even if it might sound that way when I write it now.

Congratulations to the new family addition!!! =)
