I'd disagree...an I-129F is not an immigrant petition. It's a "petition to bring your fiancé(e) (K-1) and that person’s children (K-2) to the U.S. for marriage to you, or to bring your spouse (K-3) and that person’s children (K-4) to the U.S. to apply for lawful permanent resident status.". It is not to bring an immigrant. The beneficiary is permitted to file for AOS to become an immigrant due to the resulting visa, but the petition itself is not for an immigrant.

 

Anyway, I don't think the answer matters. The DS-160 is for non-immigrant visas, where this question is mostly about helping the CO assess immigrant intent, which is not an issue for a K-class visa.

i think i understand your confusion on this one. I was also confused during my time. I answered "No" to this because I realized the K1 visa is a non-immigrant visa and the question specifically asks about an immigration petition.

N-400     28-Jun-21 Filed online ~ 28-Jun-21 Received NOA + "Biometrics will be re-used" notice ~ 14-Dec-21 Interview scheduled ~ 25-Jan-22 Interview. Approved. Case status: Oath will be scheduled.  ~ 01-Feb-22 Oath scheduled. ~ 14-Feb-22 Oath ceremony.
