Congratulations to everyone who got approved.

Thanks for the support . very long process but has went smooth so far. Thanks again ...Tim And Janice Hope everyones goes well .I m sure everyone goes through the same thought process is this going to work???? or ever be done ! Thanks everyone.....

You are certainly welcome...that's what we are here for...same thing. It makes things go a lot smoother when you have some supports and encouragements.

As for my RFE status...I am still waiting for a photo with my original name on it that is being sent from my relative in Thailand. I already went to Social Security office and have them write a statement saying that my original name and current name is in fact the same person. I just don't have photo with my original name on it. I was too young to have any ID back then.

I would like to add: I personally would notify the consulate as soon as possible when I found out I may exceed the 4 months, rather than waiting until it already expired. Good luck!

I will be sending mine at the end of December. No way am I going to be waiting until it is expired! I have worked too hard for this!!!

I'm so sorry! Even when you keep it cool, I suggest you let your lawyer know that he/she is making a deficent job! What kind of lawyer forgets about signatures on a form? You are paying for her services and she/ he is not even doing the basic stuff!

The good thing is, for what I've read around here, is that after the RFE is sent back the approval comes pretty quick!

Good luck!

Hi Byron, I hope I am posting correctly now on this forum. I wish you the best of luck with the RFE and the rest of the process. Could you please tell us exactly what document you did not sign? I also wonder why you did not receive the RFE by e-mail - they send it only to the lawyer and only by Post? so if you did not call you wouldn't have found out about this? Thanks.

Actually i feel OK...at least i know what is going on with my case...but REALLY....LAWYERS SUCK

I do not like this long process. I wonder what really happened to those who have applied in March and April.
