Well, I went in the United Kingdom thread on here and noticed that most K1/K3 people were sending out their checklist and forms to the embassy and getting their interview dates back about three weeks after the day they had sent. So i was basing the timing off of that.

Nothing official or anything but we definitely don't have it yet and its been just over three weeks.

thanks for the reply! i appreciate it- i think somewher ein the intial outlines of things from the us emabassy they stated that it was a week to get the date so hence the confusion- i hate beuracracy ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh we're just in about 1 week wait time since we sent off the packet 3 - please keep and touch and let me know when you hear!

May 23rd checked cashed, NOA1 issued

May 29th Updated online, and sadly the last touch

May 30th - NOW Waiting, waiting and waitning, loosing patience....

August 30th APPPPROOOVVEEED NOA2 SENT!

Sept 10th - received NOA2 , dated on the 7th of Sept.

Sept 12th- file sent to UK

Sept 24th - received packet from US embassy (packet 3 is it?)

Sept 25th- sent off packet back to us embassy

Oct 12th- got interview date by calling US embassy

Oct 16th- medical exam in London , PASSED

Nov 1st - 8:30 am INTERVIEW AT US EMBASSY!!!!!!!!!!!!![

FINAL APPROVAL- Nov 1st!!!! Passport to be mailed with visa attached in 3-5 days!! YIPPEEEEEE

Nov 20th- Dave flies over for Thanksgiving & Forever!!!

That makes me feel better... I thought I was the only one counting days of October! Honestly, just today I thought "well, got day 3 out of the way..."

4/6/07 - Contacted attorney John Roth

5/1/07 - Petition mailed to Texas Service Center

5/7/07 - NOA1 - Petition at CSC

9/19/07 - Approved!! NOA2 - 139 days from filing!!! (mine and several other VJ members petitions were delayed in the mail room on this approval date)

9/20/07 - Postmark for NOA2 hardcopy

9/24/07 - Hardcopy NOA2 received

10/26/07 - Sent to NVC - 43 Days from NOA2 (2 weeks late thanks to the fine folks at CSC mail room!)

11/02/07 - Case received at NVC - Finally!

11/06/07 - Case left NVC - Finally efficient results from the government!

11/14/07 - DOS advises packet has been mailed to Beth. No dates given yet...

11/15/07 - Grace at USE says nothing mailed to Liberty yet.

But she became "documentarily qualified" today, so check back soon.

11-19-07 - Dates assigned on the website!

11-20-07 - Packet 4 postmarked

11-27-07 - Packet arrives

12-07-07 - Copy of Appointment letter arrives in USA. postmark date: 12-05-07

12-27-07 - Assigned Medical Date

12-20 & 21 - Early Medical -- COMPLETED

01-03-08 - USEM Interview -- Approved!!

01-08-08 - Visa pick-up at USEM (3 business days wait because of weekend)

01-11-08 - Fly to USA!

I heard that our petition got forwarded to the London Embassy on Monday 1st October and was hoping to get packet 3 early next week and now there is a 4 day post strike :( . :angry:

17th March 2010 - Started the removal of conditions process

22nd March 2010 - Application received by CSC

30th April 2010 - Biometrics appointment

Looking at the timelines of other approvees I would leave it another 2 weeks before calling. They seem to be working on those received around 12th May at the moment.

17th March 2010 - Started the removal of conditions process

22nd March 2010 - Application received by CSC

30th April 2010 - Biometrics appointment

I wasn't sure if I should post this or not because I don't want to raise anyone's hopes too much, so please take this information with a grain of salt. :)

I called CSC yesterday using the RFE trick & talked to a VERY nice man. He said my case had not been assigned yet, but that it would be very soon. He then told me that the latest cases to be assigned were dated 5/17/07!!! I asked if I could expect to hear something in the next 2 weeks & he said he thought so. I know that isn't any kind of guanantee, but just knowing my petition isn't lost is comforting!

Also, to maybe help clear up the whole "how do they prioritize petitions" questions: I mailed my petition 5/15 & it was received/signed for on 5/18, but the csc guy said my petition was dated 5/21 which is the date on my USCIS account page (and supposedly on my NOA1, but I never received the hard copy).

Hang in there guys, with luck we will be moving forward soon! ;)

6/23/08 AOS touched - again 6/30 (probably received in CA)

7/9/08 AOS touched

7/10/08 AOS touched...come on CSC :)

7/18/08 EAD approved!!!!!! Card prodution ordered (67 days from filing)

7/28/08 Email saying EAD card mailed out today....but it was in the mailbox when I got home!!!!! Finally!!!

8/15/08 Welcome Permanent Resident Email

8/20/08 Email that AOS application is approved!!!! (100 days from time final application sent)

Thanks for the info! So you are basically saying that CSC prioritizes the petitions by their RECEIPT date, right? So they are currently working on those with a receipt date of 5/17???? Lucky you spoke to a NICE man! hahahaa
