It has been more than 6 weeks since we got our NOA2. In the meantime, we prepared the ongoing relationship evidence, fill up I-134, practice interview questions and since he will be coming here to attend the interview with me, we are planning about our vacation here too.

We got approved on January 11th and are waiting for the NOA2 hard copy.

just got our hard copy NOA2 Approval notice dated 11/01/2018.

Waiting game for NVC starts.

What do we do after I rcvd the letter from NVC with Case number SGP......., and informing that the NVC will fwd the petition to the Embassy. The letter stated that the Embassy will contact my fiancée but I am worried that until now we haven’t heard from them since the letter was dated 12/14/2017.

Looks like NVC is receiving early and mid-December approvals.

hey all. we got noa2 approved on Jan 2 - on to nvc phase.

 

guess the ultimate question now is how long from noa2 to visa in hand. seems like ~3 - 3.5 months at this point. think that’s overly optimistic? 😊

Do you know how long in average your embassy takes (you can check from your timeline in vj with going to similar cases it gives embassy averages I believe)

 

other than that it depends on when you get the case number and if your embassy has interview spots open.

 

but giving NVC 45 days for example, Id say it may be possible with a smooth embassy to get it in 3,5 months but don't make any plans set.
