This seems to me a credible reason for delays. perhaps they are running approved applications again before forwarding on to NVC to ensure no errors slipped through.

Similar happened with the N-400 applications last December with the FBI checks  Goodlatte called a halt to recheck all. I think it’s the same incident?

Also, I don’t think NVC touch citizenship applications.. I maybe wrong but why would a ‘visa’ Center deal with citizenship?

Yes sounds about right. 10 months later it becomes our problem, fits everything else I've seen from the process.

But the problem is in uscis I believe. I really don't think NVC even received it... it can be even possible uscis is rechecking approved cases for the last month...

as shoegums case has been told is also pending for background checks, which is really weird as they started June, May background checks should have been mostly done.

so maybe for cases that are approved after that date they are rechecking, and also they have to hold on to the ones approved after that in order to keep the chronological order and to keep people from yelling them saying but that case has been sent and received in NVC

I feel like this can be a nice theory (pets self on the head, as a proud owner of my self)

Hi everyone! We are 198 days today, May 30 received date. We made an inquiry through email for 5times now  and we did try calling numerous times too, we got the same answer that our case is currently being adjudicated and that we'll hear something within 45 days.  Is there any other May 30 filers here?  :'( I'm the beneficiary from Philippines. I see many approvals in June , I hope they will priotize May cases before June. I'm not against with June approvals though but for fairness sake, I wish they would.

May 30 filer here, still awaiting NOA2 as well. I called twice, received the same tired answer that they are still processing May applications. My senators office filed an inquiry on our behalf to retrieve an update on our case, but still waiting for information to come through.
