 Wow, I’m gone for a few days, come back and realize we all got EVICTED! I legit felt lost for a minute when I read that it was closed. lol That last thread has pretty much been like my home for these last 7 months....

 

Then again when I think about it, I guess most of us are literally leaving our homes for new ones so it’s ironically fitting. 🤷‍♂️

I am finally back in the U.K., We went to get her medical done yesterday and we are looking forward to the interview next week.

Is this normal? I just checked the ceac website for status and it says Administrative Processing. Not sure what this means but it says it may several weeks but the Consul told my fiancee that she was approved and will have her Passport and visa within 7-10 business days. He even gave her a pamphlet, instructions how to register for delivery and things about domestic violence.

 

Also, how can we track the visa delivery?

It is normal. If the consul said she was approved, in a couple of days you'll see Visa Issued.

For me that would be old Christmas cards from my friends that I've been collecting for years.

 

Petitioners, what is the most useless (in your opinion) object you've bought/are going to buy for your beneficiary?

I'm the beneficiary and I too packed old greeting cards. I also needed a hair dryer which was given to me last Christmas as a present 😀

LOL, so funny about the hair drier.

First time I went to visit for a long two months stay, I told him there was two things I needed that he didn't have: a hair drier and an iron  He bought the iron and now he uses it even more than I do, because he needs to wear more formal for the new job when he has to go to court, so he irons his shirts and pants. I bought the hair drier on Amazon... funny enough he has long (and crazy) hair, but he never dries it...

Good to know I'm not alone And those cards are probably the only useless items I'm packing. Yay decluttering!
