It was dated 08/18/2017, they sent on 08/22/2017 that is printed date on envelope. My biometric date is :

I finally got through to USCIS thanks to a suggestion I saw here. Turns out my wife has to be the one to talk to them about the case and she was in Florida. She called and they said if she doesn't receive the letter by September 10th to call again. She said something about the man said it's possible her appointment isn't until late October. So we shall see! At least we got a little piece of mind. Now we just need to get the dang letter! :)

After calling on the 21st. We received an email today, 9/5 with the following explanation. 

 

 

On 08/21/2017, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your Form I-751/CRI89 to notify us that you have not received an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center (ASC). Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Thank you for your inquiry regarding an appointment to have your biometric images processed at an Application Support Center (ASC). We are unfortunately experiencing a longer processing period than what is reflected on your Form I-751 Receipt Notice for this process. Please know that your name has been electronically added to the appointment scheduler. You will receive an ASC appointment notice by mail once an appointment date has been established for you.
 

06/05/15: Entry to the United States

06/12/15: Married!

 

ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS:

07/28/15: I-485 SENT

07/29/15: I-485 RECEIVED

08/03/15: NOA1 HARDCOPY RECEIVED

08/17/15: BIOMETRICS APPOINTMENT

10/16/15: INTERVIEW

10/16/15: APPROVED!

10/20/15: GREEN CARD IN HAND

 

REMOVING OF CONDITIONS:

07/18/2017: I-751 SENT

07/22/2017: CHECK CASHED

08/21/2017: Called USCIS for an update, have not received biometrics letter

09/05/2017: Received email saying we will be electronically added to scheduling list.

11/03/2017: Called USCIS for an update, spoke with Tier II, still have not received biometrics letter.

02/26/2018: Case status shows case is now at local office. 

05/05/2018: Received NOA that biometrics appointment will not be needed.

Hi

 

I have already completed my biometrics after submitting my i-751 for RoC. On the form I received for the ASC appointment, I see that there are two application numbers; One starts with I751 - EACxxxxxxxxx (Application Number 1) and the other application number starts with CRI89 - EACxxxxxxxxx (Application Number 2) . Both the EAC numbers are different.

 

I am able to see the current status of only Application Number 2. I do not have any dependents. It's just me and my citizen spouse.

 

Those of you, who have already gone through this process, would you be able to explain what these two application numbers are ?

 

What is the expected wait to get the 10 year GC?

The second number (starting with CRI89) is the one you can use to track your application. Everybody gets two numbers, so they didn't make a mistake or anything, don't worry. There was once an explanation provided as to why there are two different numbers, I can't remember the specifics but I believe it stemmed from their old system of processing and it just carried over to their current system.

 

Current wait time for approval of ROC is averaging 12+ months.

The appointment only took around 5 mins from security checks upon entry to taking the fingerprints. They only asked for the original appointment letter and a picture ID (I showed my driver's license). If you changed your name after marriage, they will ask for your maiden name. They only took the prints from my right hand. They took my picture then I was good to go after that.
