Infopass Appointment System Issues

Hi everyone,

 

I am trying to make an Infopass appointment since my NOA is about to expire.  Appointments are rarely available online, and when they are, I always get the same error message after attempting to schedule: "There was an issue with your request.  Please try again."

 

Has anyone else had similar issues with the online scheduling system?  Is there an alternative way to schedule an appointment?

I troubleshooted my problem and found a solution.  The system is very buggy.  Please take note of the following:

 

-Only include required fields (First Name, Last Name, Phone Number and Date of Birth).  Date of birth must be typed as "MM/DD/YYYY".  This is confusing because the forward slashes auto populate if you type in "MMDDYYYY".  You must type the forward slashes.

-Including the optional fields, even if input correctly, causes the system to error out.

I've tried this today. I cannot make an info pass, I get the error message. I cannot send a case inquiry, error message. Two different browsers, on two different computers, error message.

I had a bit of an argument at my local office about this yesterday.

 

I have been getting the same error, but I urgently need to speak to someone for clarification about something, so I called the line and they suggested that I try a walk in, as they can't make regular infopass appointments over the phone, let alone for a pressing need.

 

 

I had to do a little sneaky sneaky to slip past the security guard manning the desk as he wouldn't let me past him to the desk (quality security LOL), and after that, the troll at the desk point blank refused to see me without an appointment.

 

She told me to head downstairs to a room on the ground floor and ask for a supervisor, who then subsequently told me I have to make in infopass appointment, and they can't make me one or help.

They then suggested I try the infopass desk upstairs as 'they may see me without an appointment'. This is when I lost my rag a little.

Despite me pointing out that for the past week I have been unable to make an infopass - it craps out when you hit submit - and that the phone line TOLD me to do a walk in, they were absolutely insistent they could not help and there was nothing further they could do.

 

However, the infopass kiosks there DID allow me make me an appointment, so if you are local, try this.

Clearly the system is borked, as by this time it was 2pm and ALL of the appointments I had been trying to secure that morning at 00:01 were still available, which would never normally happen.
