Is the G325A Still Required?

Hi all.  It has been a while since I have gone through the K1 process, but I was recently helping a friend fill out their package, and the question came up regarding the need for the G325A forms for the US citizen and the foreign fiancé.  My friend called USCIS and they told him the G325A is no longer required and the instructions (page 10-11) for the I129F dated April 2017 also seem to say the same thing, however the USCIS optional checklist dated April 2016 still show the G325A as a required form.

Just wondering if any recent filers had any current information.

The g325a information is now on the new i-129f. I believe some people still include the g325a just to be safe, but it's my understanding that it's not necessary.

That is what it seems like.  I was just wondering if anyone submitted the I129F without including the G325A yet and had no issues.  It may be too early to tell as the new I129F just came out on April 10, 2017, but I thought I would ask.

I think you're definitely right. It's too new to tell.

My future husband in US submit I129F only, no G325 since he called to USCIS and they confirmed it before he sent I129F

Let us know how things go with his submission.  I assume all will be fine, but would like to get confirmation.

Thanks and Good Luck!
