Hello everyone.   I had my interview at 8:30am in the morning on 12 March, 2018 at Washington D.C field office (Fairfax VA).  Please let me share my experience with you guys briefly.

From what I can gather thus far, and also including a few more cases from this site as well  http://www.trackitt.com/usa-immigration-trackers/n400 currently mid-December filers are receiving Interview Letters, so they haven't even got to cases filed this year yet. Only silver lining is that that the F.O. is getting incrementally faster according to their official processing dates posted for the past few months , http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/626661-n-400-monthly-processing-dates-for-all-field-offices/#comment-8565693

So it appears that people are receiving letters about 3 months after being placed in line.  That calms me a little.  My permanent residency card expires on Dec 10 and I get nervous about whether this will all happen before then.  I do not have plans to travel around that time, but want to be safe in case of a family emergency!   I also do not feel like I can plan anything in the summer!

Yes, so it seems, about 3 months , but I would say from getting Finger prints taken, rather than from getting inline because some people get inline later than others but they still get the IL about the same time as the people who got inline before them. Their official processing time is 260 days for DC, but it seems that may be on the more conservative side, but even with that estimate it, your process should be finished by early November , before your card expires. Best of luck!

Hello! Please update. Notice date 04/12/17 and inerview is scheduled for 05/16/17. I gave the wrong field office information, it should read Fairfax.

 Are the interviews in the same building that the fingerprints are taken in?   Is so I had no trouble parking.

That was my assumption, from NOA to oath day.

 Are the interviews in the same building that the fingerprints are taken in?   Is so I had no trouble parking.

 

The fingerprints were taken in the ASC in Alexandira, the Interviews are in the main F.O in Fairfax
