Still waiting on the mailman the anxiety is killing me!

And as expected nothing but junk. Would have been too good to be true.

The mail doesn't even run here, until 7 PM, then, when it does, the mailman puts mail in the wrong boxes. Basically one of my neighbors will get it and just bin it. I hope you get it soon.

That would drive me insane. I would probably just sit out there waiting for the mailman haha

I know the feeling. Every time she leaves for her hometown, it takes me about 45 minutes to drive back home, at which time, her plane is always taking off. Then her plane flys directly over my place and I fall to my knees in tears. It's happened twice now. Here's the actual image of the plane on flight radar after it passed over this last time she left, a month and a half ago.

I am a March filer watching your thread. I cried as I read this for you. At the beginning of March when I drove my fiance down to Devils Lake, ND to catch a flight to Denver back to his home, I had to run out of the airport as I watched him board his flight because I was crying so hard. Then out in the cold wind and snow I waited until his plane took off crying the whole time. Took me a bit to get composed enough to drive the 1.5 hours back across the border into Canada and back to my Mum's. Which is not home anymore to me. Home is with my fiance. Hugs for everyone as we all have a hard wait during this time. I am so pleased to see you all receiving mail and my heart leaps for joy watching you guys get your noa2's in the mail.

I received a call back from a USCIS Officer 2 hours after my original call was escalated. She wasn't aware of any problems regarding case filings not being reported correctly to the their web or android/iPhone app. She was kind enough to forward a request to ELIS (Electronic Imigration System) to look into my complaint. She did confirm our case status being approved to NAO2 however she gave me the wrong date (05/08 vs. 05/05). When I asked her why the date in her system was wrong she didn't have an answer.

I emphasized the fact that their electronic reporting system is broken and the CSR I spoke with earlier stated our case was still in "Received" status. She explained the CSR's only have access to their online system (same data base that we use) and she has the ability to view my case on their production system.

So regretfully no one I talked to at USCIS could give me a straight answer however at least she did put forward a system request to review my complaint to ELIS  regarding system updates not occurring. She offered no other advise.

It just seems like no one has any sense of urgency to address or correct a problem brought to their attention without being told to call back in another 30-45 days. The biggest joke is when your on hold the recording says to check the USCIS website for the most current information on your case as opposed to waiting for an agent. Go figure

Thank you very much for taking your time to do that.  I really hope the ELIS looks into the request in a timely manor.  Your efforts will hopefully help us who still have a few weeks of waiting left for NOA2....at least I hope the online status system is back working by then. :)

You have reinforced our assumptions about how things run over there, it's a miracle we ever get approved! Thank you for your efforts and congratulations on your NOA2!!

That was my focus to help those whose case had not been touched.

Hopefully someone at ELIS will work to correct the problem

Anyone wishing to call USCIS I would suggest asking to have your call escalated to a USCIS officer to lodge your complaint. The CSR's clearly do no have any empowerment  to help.

So guess what happened to me...................

I called the NVC to check the status of my petition.  To see if it had arrived yet at the NVC and to check if a Case Number has been assigned.  Well during the security questions, my Fiance's DOB, my answer was WRONG.  I repeated it again, he said no that is not what is on file.  I pulled up her passport and birth certificate and said that I was right, that is her birthday.  He then told me that someone at the USCIS, whoever processed my petition, entered the WRONG DOB FOR MY FIANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My god USCIS.....  /facepalm

Anyways, he told me I had to send the NVC an email with my fiance's passport and birth certificate and in the body of the email explain the issue, and the NVC will send that email and attachments with my petition to the Embassy.  I asked, "well don't you have access to the passport and birth certificate?  It was in my petition".  He said no, that packet is kept in a separate building.  What's on the screen in front of him is just entered in information from the USCIS that he looks at to confirm security and identity.  He said he could not fix the problem, it had to be fixed at the Embassy BEFORE they processed it.

So I sent an email to the address he gave me and 5 second later it gets bounced back saying UNDELIVERABLE. Bad Domain. Sigh.......................

So I tried again and this time it didn't get bounced back, but I don't know if it truly went thru?

So now I'm all worried again.....
