Hello, getting started on the I-130 form and was wondering where it says "information about you" if I put my address where I live in the Philippines or my address in the US? Going to file at the embassy in Manila. I am the petitioner.

I just did dcf and my husband visa was approved.

I put the dr address where I'm living now as my physical address. It asks where you intend to live in USA ,that's where I'd put the American address

Any other questions feel free to ask

I put the address where I was living outside of the US at the time (I had been there for a year), but when it asked mailing address I put down the address in the US where my parents live. Why? It is proof that I have been living close to my fiance for an extended period of time. They might come back and ask why I put my US address if I am not living in the US. It will just keep confirming your relationship. There will be another place G325 I think where you have to put all of your addresses you have lived at for the past five years. You won't want to skip putting the Manila address, but if your form doesn't match all of the others, then you will get an RFE,

Do I need a permanent resident visa to file DCF? I have been living here for ten months, but all I have is the lease from the first place I lived and receipts from the place I live now. The internet bill is in my wife's name and the water/electric is in the apartment owner's name.

You have to check with the embassy. I came to dr on a tourist visa but was able to file because of my pregnancy being a emergency to expiadite the application. Not ever embassy will allow it

I also didn't have a lease or bills but we didn't plan to stay here long, we want our life in America not here

I emailed them asking if a lease was enough, they replied saying it was one of the things they accept and had a list of things they accept. So I emailed again asking if it would be enough alone, and they replied saying they already sent a list, but they didn't say if I need everything on the list or just some of the things. I too don't want to invest too much in living here cause I am more than ready to go back to the US.

I looked on the website for the USA embassy and found the requirements and that's where I found out I can expedite the I-130 but I also called to confirm it. I hate emailing anybody here they never answer the questions and take forever to get back to me but I really have no choice. My cellphone only works on wifi since I been here but thankfully my husband has a house phone. I've had a hard time since I started the process to bring my husband home with me I'm so glad it's finally almost over. Our daughter is due December and I refused to give birth here we're just really cutting it close

USCIS Manila accepts I-130 petitions for immediate relative immigrant classification from U.S. Citizens who are resident in the Philippines. To demonstrate residency, the U.S. Citizen petitioner must be able to show permission to reside in the Philippines (e.g. Permanent Resident status) and must have been resident in the Philippines for at least six months before filing the petition. U.S. citizens who are in the Philippines on temporary status, such as students or tourists, do not meet the residency standard and must file their petitions directly with the domestic United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office having jurisdiction over the U.S. citizen's place of residence. Thanks for the information, guess I will be getting permanent resident visa then.

You are very welcome. I was going to say if that's the fastest way to dcf than go for it. Less than 2 months for me my husband visa was approved and you have been there longer than 6 months so I would assume it wouldn't be too difficult to get it but I also don't know the requirements either. Are you working in Philippines??

Yea I know that feeling. The fees for the application, medical and visa was a lot more than I ever would of expected and now we have to pay a fee for me to leave and the plane tickets.

If you were working it could of been easier to get residency
