Welcome to another monthly thread for those going through NVC

Please read everything below and refer to it throughout your NVC journey, whether this is your first month at NVC or your third idea9dv.gif

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Before posting questions, please read the wiki Saylin wrote on the NVC process here. Once you're done, read it one or two more times to really understand it ;)Don't forget to also read the official form instructions as well as USCIS and NVC's websites!
If you want to see a visual of the NVC process, please view Saylin's flowchart here.
Yes this thread was created by our great Queen Saylin and the knowledge is still going forward. This thread I pray stays alive and well as many who have gone through the process or still going can chime in and help and assist.
If you're wondering about time frames, look at the fellow members right here in this thread! Study their signatures/timelines and make notes. VJ also has this awesome page. Use it! I sure did during my process smile.png That means if you are on this thread WE expect you to have an up to date timeline.
And once you've got a case complete, please join the case complete/interview thread started by me, Dwheels76 on (currently November thread), http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/611768-case-complete-to-interview-november-2016/
To be added to the Scan date to Case Complete spreadsheet go here and report. http://www.visajourn...t/#entry8093644
Also, please read Kanuk's post full of advice and observations, found here.
Best of Luck to everyone !!!
Reply to Gretch,
Thank you for the reply.
OK abut the interview same filing here didn't make any sense to me where the uscis requested that thy want to interview the petitioner me and I'm a us citizen and I have notified the uscis that I was living aboard and that the out break of the war in Yemen I escaped with my wife and daughter to ethiopia I requested an expedite tow times and the third time though the coungrsman office ....
However it's a long story and journey I had so I'm just going to try and cut through .. however I want back to NY ween I showed up for the interview basically what happened was thy just ask me what the i130 application and machine my answer and that was it interview was on 30th Jun that's that abut the interview
I don't understand why would you say I made a mistake with ds260 I did everything thy way it should be the IV fee was the NVC holding it I was calling avery other day trying to get it opened I even told the rep that I don't want to get a chicklist and she said thy won't give me one not true i still got one.. my question was is it going to take them 6 weeks to review the DS260 even if they been having my documents sense august and about the expedite if it's true the email I received that thy will not review my documents till thy get my ds260 if documents where or sent to the embassy? ?
