Well, you are way off track, but it's your right. You know me better than that Val, much better than that...I'm practically embarrassed about nothing. If I was supporting Trump I'd have no problem coming out here and saying it. I don't like many of his policies either if you can even call it that, or him for that matter. I was one of the first to come out against him wanting to ban muslims (http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/578540-a-third-of-americans-favour-trumps-muslim-ban/?p=7931184) I also posted a picture (that I made myself, didn't even need to dl off of facebook or anywhere else) of his face comparing him to kim jong un's face. Don't degrade this discussion into "you support him and are embarrassed to admit it" that's like 4th grade type stuff and it might be like some in this forum but unlike you.

As far as the economy call me a hoot, but the seeds for the next crisis have been planted under Obama's watch. What I don't understand is how people can be against the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer, yet support the same policies that cause that. However, since this would be a completely different topic, I will take it into my own thread later on when I have time.

i took it to 'you support him and are embarrassed to admit it' after i went to great lengths to attempt to discuss with you what made trump a 1% better candidate. you refused to have that discussion, so i made an assumption.

Well actually when I do it there's context to it but some people would rather make silly assumptions instead of actually knowing the context in which it was said. But...that's what happens when the only thing left for you to do is scraping the bottom.

What was the context in your statement below when you point out that your wife has a "mixed" son? You talk about her dad but make no mention of his race or skin color. What bearing does her son being "mixed" have on the conversation?

Like I'm assuming naitch is as well, believe it or not neither my wife nor I are necessarily republican, she's voted democrat before and I've voted for center-left parties in Israel. Her family, mostly her dad have been lifelong dems(like many blue collar old school sconsinites). Her mixed son from a previous marriage is as far left as you could imagine.

The way it read it is that he just forgot to add the word up after mixed. As we all are aware...the far left is very mixed up.

See, wouldn't it have been so much easier to ask that the other day when I offered to explain it instead of making assumptions? You might think it has no bearing, I do. For one, maybe not by you or Val, but we've both been accused by some here that see race in everything of being racist in the past just because we don't like Obama. Well, I'm sorry but we have a very mixed family and everyone is respected. The other thing is, it's very diverse. So, like...some might say I only say some of the things I say because I only hang out with white people or don't see things from other people's experiences but I do. And everyone's opinion is welcome, including his leftist one, or my brother whom I have mentioned in the past is a pacifist, etc etc. I hear it all, I soak it all in, but at the end of the day form my own opinions. Him and I have had a long discussion over a couple of beers last year when we were there for a visit about police brutality and I understand his views and experiences as a half black person(basically black color wise).

BTW....another piece going out to Sanders' office today. The man sure gets lots of love.

It rarely ever matters. When people do that they are telling more about themselves than anything else.
