Hi everyone,

I came home recently after 5 weeks in California after a trip with some friends. I've been invited to a friends' wedding in mid September in New Orleans and I'd really love to go. Plus, as I'll graduate before the wedding, with my boyfriend and some friends we would like to go and have a road trip of the East Coast for around 2 months. We would like to stay this long because all of us have birthdays during the following 2 months and other celebrations.

My question is whether the immigration will let me pass without any problem when at the airport or they will stop me because I'll be back in the States after only 2 months and plan to stay for quite a long time.

The thing is that I don't want to spend all my money (part of it is my parents present for my graduation) and see my entrance in the country denied.

Thank you for reading my post, I hope someone can help me with this issue. Thanks, ciao!

You should be ok with entering after 2 months of your last visit! technically there is no rule that dictates how long you have to wait between visits to the States, as long you don't overstay your ESTA and you don't have intentions to immigrate you will be fine!

Let us know how it goes.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Theoretically, it could be fine; but we don't have the answer. Anyone who says.. Go! It'll be OK! will be giving you unrealistic expectations, because none of us can tell you with certainty if CBP will let you right in or if they will turn you around.

Your only option is to try.
