Updated the date of my bio appt. What is the deal with these Walk-in's?

I like to believe I sent enough information to skip the interview, but when will I know if that was enough? Thank you all and good luck!

I read somewhere that the number they give us on the first NOA is not trackable on their website so don't worry about that one.

I believe we are all on the same boat regarding not receiving our Biometric's letter. If you look at all of us who filed at the California center we haven't received anything, and I check the mail literally every day.

It will be a month for me in a few days, and I believe we are required to wait at least 30 days so they can tell us what is going on.

Thanks That makes me feel a little better, for me now its been exactly a month and a week of waiting for the Biometric appointment. Hopefully I will receive it this week.

Hello All - I Cannot believe its almost been 2 years already since I moved here. So we ended up filing I-751 2 days ahead of 90 days timeline they have mentioned. USCIS ended up mailing the whole package with the checks to us. All we did was packed it up again and send it back to them on 07/15/16 and I received the NOA1 07/18. I am really starting to get worried :clock: as its been more than a month and I haven't received the Appointment letter yet. Both the checks show as cashed on 07/20 for $505. Need help please!!!

When I check USCIS with the receipt# it says its an INVALID Receipt# which I understand from previous posts that it takes time to update. What do u guys think??

Updated the date of my bio appt. What is the deal with these Walk-in's?

I like to believe I sent enough information to skip the interview, but when will I know if that was enough? Thank you all and good luck!

My hubs did a walk-in because our scheduled appointment was during our vacation. We didn't know how far out rescheduling through USCIS would put us, so we did it early.

As far as I understand, interviews aren't that common and if you're approved without RFE's (even if you do get an RFE, it may not necessarily mean you'll get an interview), there's a good chance you won't have one, but that's my opinion!

You are correct. You can only start tracking your case once you receive the biometrics letter.

The lady who I spoke to last wee told me the that Case #'s are manually entered into the system so it take time and the NOA# is not the case #. The case # comes with your Biometric letter and that will be in the system.

I just got back from my biometrics appointment. I still have my stamped I-797C (the biometrics letter) with me. Were they supposed to take that from me at the appointment, or is it okay that I still have it?

I'm worried because they stamped and scribbled something at the bottom of the letter, almost like it's for their records. :huh2:

Hi, I have a question and I am a i-751 july filer too CSC, l mailed my form on July 27 and my NOA was on July 29. I am a little worried since its been a month from NOA and I still did not get a schedule for biometrics. Should I need to call the CSC or does anybody is on the same boat as me? ?

Dec 2, 2011 - Vivian traveled to USA to attend a medical conference and had our first date. On Dec 10, 2011 - Vivian returned home.
May 15,2012 - Vivian traveled to USA to spend a month with me. smile.png
Sep 15,2012 - Met Vivian in Frankfurt Germany and on to Prague Czech Republic to celebrate our birthdays.
Sep 24, 2012 - Left Viena Austria. The last time I was with Vivian.
Nov 11, 2012 - Mailed in I-129F
Nov 19, 2012 - NOA1 recieved

June 13, 2013 - NOA2 approved.

June 17, 2013 - NOA2 hard copy received.

June 25, 2013 - Consulate received
July 7, 2013 - Packet 3 received

July 13, 2013 - Packet 3 sent

July 28, 2013 - Packet 4 received

Aug 22, 2013 - Interview scheduled and APPROVED!!! kicking.gif

Sept 17, 2013 - Visa in hand

Sept 18, 2013 - Traveled to USA - Arrived at Dulles Airport in Virginia.

Sept 20, 2013 - Wedding!!!
