I filed AOS and EAD and NOA1 was FEBRUARY 12TH 2016 I have just received a case update out of the blue, (you know the way USCIS are)

It says that "today March 31st we ordered your new card for receipt number MSC*****### and will mail it to my address"

Now this has confused me because that receipt number is the one for my AOS and I also have a EAD filed concurrently which has a another receipt number, not this one!

Could this actually be my Green Card or more likely my EAD

Any ideas out there, thanks

Wow that would be quick wouldn't it, I thought most centres had back logs and I was going in for the long wait, I was one of those stuck in Texas for ever and ever! So maybe I've had some luck with this part of the journey ?

Thanks for that massel and danirob, I received another e-mail later last night that indeed said the I-485 has been approved on 3/31/2016, which is 20 days after my biometrics which I took at Jacksonville on 3/11/2016. Must be some kind of record. Still trying to believe it, as I was stuck in Texas on my K1 in those backlogs last year (Feb 2015 filer from Florida) and you get used to waiting and hanging around.

Many people which entered as a K1 get their GC approved really quick at the moment.

Same for me. My NOA 1 date for the AOS package was 01/05/16 and I got my GC approved on 03/25/16.

We were really lucky. From filing the 129f petition for finance to the GC in 9 months.

Hope your card arrives soon. Hopefully mine is arriving today. :)
