Hello Ronak20

A US citizen sponsoring an unmarried son over 21 would be categorized as First Preference which mean it won't take 7 years. The wait period for those in that category is about 6-12 months. Check the following link.

That is incorrect; you are perhaps thinking of minor kids, this one is over 21, thus F1 preference; they are working on 2008 files for most countries. Here are the official wait times:

Bye: Penguin

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Hello Again Ronak

Please clarify if you are a GC holder or a US citizen. Also, is your son 21 or 26 or you have sons in both ages?

your other thread is absolutely different from this!!!

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/588947-greencard-holder-wants-to-bring-unmarried-son-of-age-26/?p=8052299

PS: Dear Mods, I have found discrepancies with both these threads, so yes, I suppose, this is a call-out!!!

Plus you have to stay unmarried during that time. Otherwise you move into another category for which the wait is even longer.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!
