Hey guys I had to get a copy of my BC when I got my passport. So I copied it for the documents needed for the I-129F. The front has VOID stamped all over it!! And the back is blank but still copied it. What do I do? Is this okay? I can't find my original but says its issued from the state.

Find the original, or get another. Copies of such documents are accepted as stated in the instructions. However, at interview, the IO can ask for the original to compare with the copy provided.

At my family's AOS interview at the Tukwila DHS office, I was asked to produce the original copy of my divorce decree for comparison to the original by the IO. Thankfully I had brought it along, avoided a last-minute RFE.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

I will try to find it but that is why I requested a copy of it. I could send that...

If you have android get camscanner pro for a few bucks in the app store and then take a picture of it and save it as a pdf just like any other copy.. I do this all the time for my business and the void won't show on it..
