Hey guys I'm new to this thread.

I am a Vermont Feb 2016 Filer.

Ive been looking at threads from the previous year (Vermont Feb 15') and i noticed that most Vermont cases were transferred over to California Service Center to distribute workload and catch up by August 19th and in most were approved by October,any chance this will happen this year? Does anyone know at what point Vermont begins to transfer cases because at the moment they are pretty backed up. Im just looking for a positive glimpse of hope that lets us know the ball is moving lol. CSC seems to be catching up hitting the 6-7 month window.

I don't know about the transfer, but I hope they can. VSC is soooooo slow now.

When I joined the thread, I predicted that CSC filers would be approved in 5 months, June. But actually they started to get approved in June and two months later, August, less than half filers get approved. I'm feeling a big slap on my face.

And I also predicted that VSC filers would be approved in 8 months, September, which is next month. But actually USCIS is still stuck in September 2015. I'm feeling another huge slap coming.

Yes, I really hope USCIS can speed up and transfer workload to CSC.

Just received case update " On August 3, 2016, we updated your date of birth for your Form CRI-89 "

DOB ( Year ) was wrong on computer screen when I went for Bio, lady who was taking bio fixed it in the computer and I never followed up, looks like now USCIS made changes on their end.

I checked my form that I submitted and it had correct DOB.

No. The status is case received. I have the same question and other members told me there is no status update for bio.

It has been more than one month. Didn't you get a result yet? USCIS takes a longer time than I thought to make a decision on interviews.

Is this normal reading this? "

Does it mean they still did not go over my documents? I never heared anything after Biometric. (:

I hope and pray they will transfer all Vermont applicants to Local USCIS offices for fast processing like before when i finally got approved. They forward my application from Vermont center to Local USCIS office in Georgia.

We are in this waiting process again.......patience is all what we need. and Prayers too.

I think the receipt number you use to check for update is the one on your 1 year extension letter.

Any idea if Vermont transfers cases every year or it's just when they are extremely backed up?
