Have any January filers gotten their NOA2 yet? I'm asking because there are two people in the Potomac thread (a January filer and a February filer) who have gotten their NOA2s already.

Well, I guess they have not reported yet, because according to VJ statistics no one has been approved yet. See following link with a list of filers begining in January 2016.

I've seen on the timeline that NEBRASKA is approving December now in April! :)

I'm hopeful that in mid June we will get approved. All we have to do is wait and have faith <3

You are all in my prayers. (L)

I have read some where here in VJ what you just posted, specially for male applicants. DO you know of a particular reason?

Men from Pakistan are pretty much all considered would-be terrorists. It's so sad that so many people think that. So these men end up in AP (Administrative Processing), which is a background/name check status. My husband's cousin filed a petition from Canada for his wife and it took 5 years. I know another couple waited 3 years with no reason given here in the US. Another US couple I met had waited 2 years. And these are just a few that I have noticed.

My husband has a tour business in Pakistan and a business in another country, so I know they are automatically going to be suspicious of him, even though he came here for business seminars before 9-11. Heck, he's too dang old to be a terrorist anyway...lol We have known each other 5 years, 6 visits, tried to get married for 2 years in Serbia, so we have had a long, long relationship and wait already. BUT none of this helps with immigration...to them, they are all suspect. My prayer is that we both live long enough to have a good many years together...He's 50, I just turned 65.

Anyway, I hope and pray that God has mercy on all of us. I try to have no expectations so that I won't be so disappointed....
