When did it change?

As soon as I get to my desk I will send you a thread.

It will help calling NVC asking when it was shipped out.

CEAC does not update real time.

Oh yes, we have to register too, but they only let you enter the appointment date they give you and choose the delivery method, you can't do anything else. :(

I've sent the Embassy an email (they don't have a phone number where you can reach them), let's see what happens.

Thanks a lot Frankjavir!

Well status finally changed to Ready. Still no answer from the Embassy though.

Hope we can have the interview at a sooner date :)

How do you find out your tracking number for the file being sent from NVC to the Embassy? My status just changed to "in transit",

Call NVC to hear what they say about shipping date, I learned no to trust CEAC as far as being up to date, it lags a lot.

Here is the thread:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/302190-dhl-tracking-from-nvc-to-us-embassy/

EXAMPLE:

* Shipper´s Reference : EXP 25 JAN 2016A

* Date range for shipment - From: 25 - 01 - 2016

* Date range for shipment - To: 28 - 01 - 2016

Account Number - Leave this blank

Shipment Destination: Brazil

The entry in red is like an identifier for all mail generated by NVC

The range needs to include the date of the entry in red.

This is the latest delivery:

My status on the CEAC website says ready. The date of my status update has been changed twice, and the last update date is 28th, Jaunary, 2016. Why are these changed? Is this something to worry about?

Awww you are sweet. Thank you. :goofy:

Hi Dwheels..

I had my interview today in Lagos. It went very well.. I answered all the questions the CO asked me to his satisfaction.

We even were talking and smiling as if we knew each other before.

When he was done, he said he gave me back my birth and marriage certificates.

He kept my passport and asked to also keep the few pages (20) facebook chat I printed. He then said that I should give them a week or two to verify.

He didn't give me any 221g form because he said he got all he needed and doesn't need anymore documents.

That they will contact me.

Is this normal? Has anybody gone through this before and if so, how long does it take?

Thanks
