Just means they updated your file. When they update they put the date in. So then they are waiting on you then.

Please everyone have original or certified copies of your Divorce decree at your interview. This is about the 5th time I have read this.

I wish I had found this site sooner in the application process. Hubby got his interview date for January 8th in Juarez!

Quick question for those who may have dealt in Juarez. The instructions they provided didn't say anything about the BioMetrics, just his Medical, which we have scheduled for January 6th in Mexico City.

Should we be scheduling a separate appt for BioMetrics?

also, he currently has Tourist B2 Visa and was fingerprinted for that, will they fingerprint him again?

Appointments may be available Mon-Fri excluding American and Mexican holidays http://mexico.usembassy.gov/eng/holidays.htmlas well the second Wednesday and last Friday of every month ASC appointments are available Saturdays as well.

Most visa applicants in Mexico are required to visit an Applicant Service Center (ASC) prior to their consular section interview. The ASC staff collects the applicant's biometric information that will be reviewed by the consular section prior to the applicant's interview. How long it normally takes for review after getting a checklist for filling I-864 incorrectly???? can anyone help me with the timeframe??

Hi all! Just got my interview date assigned. Case complete on Dec 09, interview email on Dec 15, interview on Jan 28. Feel free to add me to the spreadsheet.

So I left this out but hubby printed out a bunch of pics And accidentally included 1 inappropriate one. It's not horrible but truly for our eyes only (don't judge, we were on vacation). I yelled at him and told him absolutely not,don't bring it. He swore he took it out but after the interview he was goin through them and saw the inappropriate one right in the middle of the stack. The CO looked at every single pic and his mood changed tremendously after seeing the pics and hubby was approved a minute later.

Not saying that's why we were approved but his interview was Friday and our status changes to Issued today so something worked input favor. Lmao.

One thing I noticed throughout the 4 years on these forums and reading many many reviews is Pictures do matter. They tell alot. I have seen people denied and told their pictures were staged. I have read many accounts of CO's complimenting when pictures are taken of people just living not posing.

Another friend talked about how the CO just went on and on about a set of pics of her pounding yam (no small thing to do). He liked that she was trying.

Or they man that was caught hand washing his wife's under clothes the CO thought that was very sweet.

Showing "Risque" pics and dialog just shows real folk. (well don;t be like someone I know who all they submitted was sex chats for 2 years. They been in AP over a year. I mean you have to have a little bit more on the table right.

I think that's cute kamw. Just know you made a CO's day. hehe

My wife had her interview this morning and was approved on the spot! The CO told my wife that the passport will be ready by next Monday or Tuesday latest, and she would check to see if it could be done quicker before my wife's flight next Wedneday. It looks like everything should hopefully work out - will be a very Merry Christmas.

Case Closed: December 3rd

Got our interview date email today (15 December) and interview date is January 19!

Goodness that was a fast Scan to Case Complete. I noticed on your timeline you didn't have anything for AOS. Did you not have to do that part or something?

No one really knows what original documents the CO would ask for. That's why it would be better to come to the interview with complete originals of your civil documents.

hello yes based on my experience they ask me for the original divorce document for my husband and they suspended my case my husband sent that document to me on the same day but I didn't received it and i had to ask for another one from the court now im waiting for it to take it to the translator and reaaly hope to submit it to them tomorrow please guys be careful and take all the original documents you don't know what to expect its better to get done of that on the same day or just get suspended and i don't want that to any of you guys wish good luck Edited December 16, 2015 by MiyA35

We got the same interview date as you at the Manila Embassy... Also we got the same checklist as you about revising the number of household members. Kind of weird?

Hi everyone,

My husband's interview is in two weeks....I am stressing out .....Does my husband need my(petitioner's) original documents....I sent a copy of my naturalization certificate ...should I send the original certificate to my husband as well?

What other original documents would my husband need from me? I spoke to NVC rep and was told that at the interview only the applicant's original documents are needed but I see something otherwise from the posts

Unfortunately, not knowing in the beginning of the process to send copies. I sent my original Divorce Decree with my I-130.

I will request another one so that my husband will have it at the interview.
