Oh Chas, lol... I don't know if I should laugh or cry?

Literally just checked the USCIS website on the case, and it still is stuck on biometrics, when hubby walks in with a lovely RFE paper.

Guess what it's for? :)

I'd like to kick Knightsbridge and the USCIS up the ever-lovin' backside right now.

No way? Surely not for the medical?

I guess if it's any consolation, at least someone is actually looking at your case!

As for Knightsbridge, I know they were useless at completing the vaccination form when I went there. Had to get them to tick a box they missed before I left, then found out when I got home that there was more boxes missed and had to get them to re-issue the form with further corrections.

Doesn't inspire confidence does it?!!!

Yep. It's for the vax form, even though we sent in the DS3025.

Another interesting kicker? This letter is not even from the NBC or even Baltimore. It's coming from the Manchester, NH Field Office... and they are backed up to June 2015!

So they are asking for only the vaccination sheet I-693, which is fine.. sure we can go try and find a civil surgeon willing to transcribe it. But he had his UK medical in June 2015. Are we then going to get another RFE for the rest of the medical?

I will assume we will also be waived. Surely they would not expect us to drive all the way up to NH for an interview.. right? ;)

What the heck do they want from your medical? Was it an error from when Knightsbridge did it? I spent countless hours on them trying to get a vaccination transcription corrected. I had argued about it before we left and they insisted it was correct but when I got back to Scotland and checked on VJ, they were wrong. They made me furious!

I hope this is some consolation, but our medical was early April last year and we were approved in May without an RFE for another medical so fingers crossed for you. What a mess! :ranting:

They want the I-693, but we had already sent the DS-3025. Specifically mentioned the vaccination sheet only. They make no acknowledgement that they ever had the DS3025, only that they don't have the I-693. So either they lost our DS-3025 when they moved it to a random field office, they lost whatever vaccination record in the original medical (why are they not asking for a new medical and only for the vaccination sheet then?), or they are lying and can't read.

Either way... I'm so annoyed. And I'm sure like Chas, when we send in our RFE response, we won't get an acknowledgement online that they have received it... it'll still be stuck on the biometrics like it is now.

For Tampa, FL -> Nov 2015 is on the move.

Good to know. I just met someone that filed in Sept and is still waiting for her interview in Miami! Where are you getting the most updated information on the processing times? At the USCIS homepage it is just showing timelines from March 31. Is it possible for us to get a more updated information than that?

Our NOA Date is 11/30/2015. 6 months will be here on 5/30/16. At that point I want to send an "out of normal processing time" update request. Is it worth sending the electronic request, or should I go ahead and contact my Senator's office? It's my understanding you cannot do both. I am just afraid if I do the e request, it will come back with no information other than - still being processed. Or is calling and speaking to Tier 2 the better option?

I just want to choose the path that will get me the most information.

Thanks!

JB

Hmm, my NOA is 11/24/15 and I'm having an interview in Albany on 5/24/16 so I really hope you can hear back from your case soon too. I would say try to submit service request first then try Senator later. When I tried to expedite my EAD, I got help from Senator Gillibrand's office and they were super helpful so I would totally suggest you to contact them if you choose to go that way. Good luck!

Good Luck with your interview! Yes, if I go the Congressional route, I would choose Sen. Gillibrand for sure.

I'm in Texas.. can someone post a link or contact info for the congressmen? What should be included? Any help us greatly appreciated!

For congressman go to http://www.house.gov In the upper right corners you'll find a space to enter your zip code. In my case I'm right in the middle of to congressman's jurisdiction so it asked me for the last four numbers (in our case 98026-7576). It shows you the name and the link to go to his or her website

For senators go to http://www.senate.gov In the upper right corners you'll find a drop down menu to select your state. It takes you to a page with links to your senator's website too.

Hope it helps!!!

Just in case this happens to someone else (and it's here for search purposes)....

I got a reply from one of our senators. They found out that on March 16, my husbands i-485 was approved but someone accidentally entered the status as "Name was Updated". Since that status was put into the system, it didn't trip the process to order/print the card. When the status is changed to "approved", I guess the system automatically sends it out to get your card ordered.

So if anyone gets the "Name was Updated" status and you never submitted for a name change... chase after it. It's probably an error and can/will hold things up for a while.

My husband finally got his card in the mail yesterday. :dancing:
