Urgent Help needed ! Child not mentioned on petition

Our K1 was approved and interview date set. But.. i did not mention my fiancee's child in the original I129f petition (long story / personal circumstances ) so please do not judge. Her minor child is in the process of adaptation and hence we decided not to mention the minor child since the child will not immigrate to US.

Now, i've read that during the medicals , they conduct a physical exam .Obviously they will find out that she had a child. We want to be truthful and admit that she had a child and it goes in the med. report before the interview.

We really love each other and want to spend the rest of our lives together and this decision was mutual for so many reasons i can't list on a forum.

What are the consequences of this during the interview ? Would they deny her K1 because the minor child was NOT mentioned in the original 129f petition and the medicals show that she had a child previously ? Please advice, we are freaking out.

What are our options..

It's possible that she could be denied due to not including the child. The form is clear that children are to be included regardless of if they'll immigrate or not. I would just be honest with the officer about it at the interview. She may be lucky

May not apply as both of my children are over 18, but I was told by uscis not to include them on my I-129F, but on the DS160, I included them, but checked the box that they won't be travelling. My interview is on the 19th, let's see if uscis know what they are doing! Lol

FYI In my case I sent an e-mail to the embassy and their answer was that I don't need to include them in the in the affidavit of support or the 129f , Because they are not traveling at this time and eventually when I claim them I should have to file for them again, now this was the embassy in Santiago, chile.

I have seen this come up a few times. It was suggested that at the interview they take a notorised letter stating that the other party is aware of the child etc. Hope this helps

Just bring an updated form to the interview and explain your error.
