CSC slowing down

Any news whether CSC will continue to be fast or is it getting overwhelmed since all K1 visas are going there? i seen people as fast as 14days from NOA1 to NOA2

You will have the NOA2 well before November. They seem to be running about a month now, but still is a short wait. You might not get your NOA2 in September (then again, you might) but October should clear you onto NVC. Really, you are good.

Timeline

Just scrolling through the forums...but I am also at CSC for an IR1/CR1 visa. Based on the information, statistics show that K1 visas are processed typically in 2 months or less. I, on the other hand, believe that it will take the 5 months as listed as there processing time.

for those that got approved in 2-3weeks, what was reported as the estimated processing time on the USCIS site for CSC k1 visas ? Its 5 months now but i don't know if that recently changed or if it just always says that

No, it has always said that. Rely on VJ data because USCIS data is late, bloated, an inaccurate! I see August filers being approved, so you are good.

TSC looks like they only have one person working cases as of last week. CSC is so different.

We filed in August and the website shows approved as of September 14th, but I still haven't gotten a hard copy of the NOA2. Called today and they said they had forwarded the case on to the NVC though, so who knows!

August 18, 2015: Mailed I-129f to Dallas Lockbox


August 21, 2015: NOA1 "Received Date"


August 25, 2015: NOA1 Notice Date


September 14, 2015: USCIS website says "my case was approved"! :wub:


**STILL NO NOA2 HARD COPY**


October 4, 2015 NVC Received case around 10:00pm EST


October 5, 2015 Called and received case number. CAEC website shows "At NVC"


October 8, 2015 CAEC Website showed "In transit"


October 14, 2015 Received email from U.S. Consulate General in Sydney saying they had received our approved petition and they would be contacting my fiance; CAEC website shows "Ready"


October 19, 2015 Packet 3 & 4 received by my fiance


November 20, 2015 Interview date. APPROVED!!


December 3, 2015 POE


February 15, 2016 Marriage!
