Who is going through the process of Adminstrative Processing with Casablanca, Morroco

Hello everyone,

Who is going through Administrative Processing with their K1 VISA petition at the US Consulate, Casablanca, Morocco? How long have you been in AP? What have you done, what did the US Consulate want on the interview or are you doing anything to help the process and it is working?

I am looking to see what others are doing while in AP and did you contact your congressman? Did it help?

Same situation here, I have been in AP almost 26 days,the interview was at US embassy Islamabad, Pakistan. everything was so smooth and easy at interview day and nothing was not requested by consul officer but at the end, He said everything looks good but your case will go through AP , it may take 60 days to complete. It is a frustrating process.

Our application has been in AP for about a month. We were not given a 221g form. I emailed the consulate shortly after my spouses interview and received the standard "most cases are resolved in 60 days" email.

Has anyone been through AP for less than the 60 day period? I've been reading the Pakistan thread and it seems like 4-5 YEARS is the norm there and 4-12 months is the norm for Morocco.

Yes, second interview, if that is what you called it. My fiance went and the US Consulate handed him a paper and that was it. We are still in AP.

I reside in the US and have been racking my brain with what to do next. Unfortunately it seems like nothing can be done.

221(g) a second time. This time, the paper said they are sending the petition back to USCIS. I called USCIS and they do have a note that it is getting sent back. I will be calling every week to see when they receive it.

Our "Status Update Date" updated---but still in AP. We are about four weeks into AP at this point. Hopefully they contact us with good news soon!

Any news for anyone? We haven't received any other information--just thestatus update mid September. We will be approaching the 60 days soon.

Hey guys!

I am not in moroco but I had my interview in islamabad, Pakistan. Everything went well but at the end of the interview. I was given 221(g). AP. They told me to wait 60 days. My case got updates three times. It is almost 50 days since the interview day. I haven't heard them so far. I am really frustrated. our case was perfect and fine as the CO told me. But I don't know why they make us so frustration.
