Thank you! Can you pay with a Debit card/credit card? I thought I saw that you can only use a checking or savings account. Has the system been updated?

I just paid 3 days ago. There is no way to use a card, only the bank account information, for the payment.

I apologize, I couldn't remember if I paid with a card or my bank account, so let me rephrase it, if you have a bank account and know your routing/account number, do it online.

Early congratulations. Pretty quick turn around with the document review.

Thanks! Got the confirmation! She actually said "wow, you were processed really quickly!" I said that I heard things had been moving quickly this month, and 20 to 25 days seemed average (though from admittedly a very small sample size!), and she said again she'd never heard of it going so fast. So those reps who keep saying 30 or 42 days, that's not just what they're told to say, they really don't seem to have many cases going as fast as it seems like people on the forums are getting.

For information, I had a joint sponsor, since I'm a USC abroad and my income won't continue when we move back, so my income on the i-864 was 0.

My joint sponsor is married, but I only used her income, since it about twice the minimum for 3 people. I had a copy of her employment letter with annual salary stated, and the most recent 3 paystubs. I used copies of her tax returns (her transcripts were taking forever, and in the end she ordered the wrong kind), and copies of her W2s to show what part of the income was hers. I only did 2014 though, not the past 3 years. However, I sent my past 3 years tax transcripts, since I had them.

I filled in N/A on all the spaces that were blank on the i-864 forms.

For my proof of establishing my domicile in the states:

-I had kept my savings account open for the past 8 years abroad, and my bank credit card (for emergency plane tickets), so I included those.

-I recently reopened a checking account, so I put that in too.

-I had maintained my driver's licence (because it's always super fun to visit the DMV on a visit home, lol).

-I included a letter from my father saying we'll live with him and my mom, along with a copy of his driver's license and a utility bill with the address.

-Two emails with shipping quotes

-An email exchange with a daycare center near my parents' to get a spot on the waiting list our son.

Hopefully all this might help someone with their own journey!

Just a quick question..hoping someone can help! Is the DS-261 available to fill the same day your case number is assigned?? I just logged on to the CEAC website but I cannot fill the choice of agent.. Is that normal? When i try to click on 'choice of address and agent' in top left corner nothing happens. Just want to make sure because I do not want to waste any time!

Our docs were received September, 23rd by NVC. So, it's the three of us. :-) Let's hope we'll get a fast CC.

I should be right there with you. I sent my docs overnight on the 22nd. Tracking number showed they signed for it on the 23rd.

But I am one of those randomly feeling nervous about nvc scanning the docs before I pay or complete the DS 260. I hope to do all of that next week.
