How to breakup USCIS case number.

Hello Everyone.

My USCIS case number is SRC 15 900 4 XXXX

Following all the descriptions I shouls read :

SRC = Texas Service Center

15 = Fiscal Year (10/1/2014 - 09-30/2015)

900 = working days in fiscal year

4 = Internal use ???

XXXX = case number for that day

Does anyone know why the working day in fiscal year

is set to 900 ?

Does anyone know where the 4 ( internal use) stands for.

Thank you all in advance.

Albert

Thank you for the answers, but you are just pointing to my problem.

Following the link it gives me

AAABBCCCDEEEE

AAA The USCIS service center or office that received your case SRC - Texas Service Center (TSC)
BB USCIS fiscal year (October 1 to September 30).
Cases filed from 10/01/2013 to 09/30/2014 will have BB=14 CCC The working day of the fiscal year when your case is received.
10/01/13 = 001 D Internal USCIS use (typically 5) EEEE Starting at 0001, the order your case was recieved that day

So CCC can never be more as the number of working days in a year what is 251 days.

in my case number it is 900.

There are a lot of cases that have the value 900 or 901.

So, does anyone know where this "new" notation is coming from ???

I know. I didn't realize there was a thing on vj about it. We had a huge discussion months ago about it and no one could figure it out. Many people had number that matched what it should be, those who didn't all had 9's in the same spot as you.
