I received text message today that my case has been updated. Found out that I-485 has been approved and new card is being produced. I had my interview on Dec. 14th. Officer did not approve my I-485 on interview day as my birth certificate did not have my name on it. Very common back home for birth certificates not to have names as lot of times parents name children lot after baby is born. didnt think about it and my attorney also missed it. received RFE and sent a copy of school records and affidavit from both parents on Dec 23rd. Received by USCIS ST. Paul office on dec. 24th. and approved today. Yay... At times it feels normal because of so much wait with the whole process and at times it is hard to believe that I am now a permanent resident of US. (hopefully receive my Green card in the next few days without any mail glitches). Congratulations to everyone who are through and Good luck to everyone who are in the process.

7/29/15 Checks cashed for I-131 and I-485

8/01/15 Received notices in mail for I-130, I-765, I-131, and 1-485

8/07/15 Received biometrics appt letter

8/21/15 Successful biometrics appt

9/22/15 EAD/AP approval online

9/28/15 Received EAD/AP approval notice in mail

9/30/15 Received EAD/AP card in mail

1/11/16 Interview scheduled for 2/16/16

2/16/16 Green card approval!!

12/16/17 Mailed I-751

12/19/17 Received NOA1

1/23/18 Biometrics

2/26/2019 Conditions removed

3/5/2019 Received 10 year green card

8/30/2019 Submitted N-400

07/13/15 Finger print fee received

07/15/15 Text and email confirmation

07/21/ 15 Received hard copies of Notice of Action

07/24/15 Biometric Appointment notice for 08/06/15

08/06/15 Biometric completed at Hialeah field office

08/13/15 Online Status RFE sent off today's date

08/18/15 RFE received Sponsor don't meet poverty guideline

08/25/15 Respond to RFE with Job Letter and 9 months pay stubs

08/26/15 RFE delivered and signed for

08/27/15 Online Status RFE received etc..

09/15/15 Called USCIS about EAD/AP and was told I had to summit the applications over because they can't be found.

09/16/15 Sent off package to Chicago Lockbox

09/16/15 Online status Case is ready to be scheduled for an Interview

09/17/15 EAD/AP delivered to Chicago Lockbox and signed for again

09/22/15 Online status interview schedule for Oct0ber 23, 2015.

09/24/15 Interview notice in hand dated Sept 18, 2015.

10/23/15 Interview done took about 5mins but wasn't approved because of incomplete medical form.

10/23/15 Request For Evidence #2 delivered to me by I/O.

10/26/15 Received text/email I-130 approved on 23/10/15 and a notice mailed.

10/30/15 Received I-130 Approval Notice.

11/05/15 Delivered my RFE at Hialeah Field Office

11/06/15 Received text/email stating New Card Is Being Produced.

11/13/15 Online status show: On Nov 13, 2015 we mailed your New Card, for receipt number ****to address you gave us.

11/16/15 Green Card in my hand

July 22 2015 Sent AOS packet I-[130, 485 & 765] via Fedex

July 24 2015 Delivered 10am and signed for

July 30 2015 Cash cleared and received NOA-1 via email

Aug 03 2015 Received NOAs for I-[130, 485 & 765] through mail

Aug 07 2015 Received Bio metrics appointment letter through the mail for the 20th of AUG

Aug 20 2015 Bio metrics Appointment done!

Aug 26 2015 Updated Online: Case ready to be scheduled for interview (I-485)

Sept 26 2015 Updated Online: Card being produced

Sept 28 2015 EAD Approved Online

Oct 01 2015 Card Mailed

Oct 03 2015 Card Received

Jan 19 2016 AOS Interview notice on the 23rd Feb 2016 received by mail

Its been a long ride and I can't thank everyone in here enough for their encouragements. Thank you!

For those still waiting, not long now u will be notified by USCIS as well.

I have been waiting 6 months for my interview this coming Monday (01/25/16) but seems like my wait will last a bit longer because the coming snowstorm

The forecast said could be 18-28" of snow, I think there is more possibility that the office will not open on Monday

:'(

I tried to call the office but no answer. Don't know what to do now.

Ughhh

AOS interview completed this morning. The officer said he was recommending us for approval so now we are just anxiously waiting for my online status to change!

Dumb question time - I haven't been around for a bit and haven't kept up with anything...but I got an email this morning saying my wife's card was mailed to me. That means no interview right? I saw a few posts that said an interview was scheduled after the Green Card was mailed.

Correct! If your wife's GC has been mailed out, then forget about the interview! Congrats!

Received notice on Friday that I-485 has been approved and my green card is being produced. I'm so happy!!!!
