What is category CR6?

HI everyone, i just have a simple question, what is category CR6 on my green card mean? what is the definition for this category? or where can i find the answer? thanks in advance.

Conditional Resident that AOS as a spouse while in the U.S. If you were a K-3 that what you should be now.

However, it seems that few people have got that after being a K-1, but I still say that is a mistake and K-1s should be CF-1.

thank you for answering my question so fast, actually i was a F-1 in here for many years before i was adjusted, i never had a K-1 or K3 visa. is there any category explaination information on the web site? because i know CR means conditional resident, i just want to find out what that 6 mean.

I don't think the number really means anything. It's just the number used to identify you from another catagory. CR-7 is what your child would be. What does the 3 in K-3 mean other than K-1 and 2 had already been used.

Usna, what you're being told is that category CR6 means that you are a conditional resident, based on an adjustment of status due to being the spouse of a US citizen.

K-2

The 6 means that you adjusted status on the basis of being the spouse of a US citizen.
