Case Number and IIN combination you entered does not match our records

Hey guys, I had my wife call up NVC today and as luck would have it they assigned us a case number and IIN. Wen we typed in the info on CEAC it says

The selected Case Number and Invoice Identification Number combination you entered does not match our records. Please try again or contact the National Visa Center for further assistance.

So we were thinking maybe she misheard the numbers cause she was calling from abroad and the connection was choppy. So I called them up and I had the rep repeat the numbers and they were correct. She tried inputting it on her end and she got the same thing, I tried it in different browsers too. She said give it til next week since the case was assigned 3 days ago over the weekend (May 1). Has anyone else experienced this? Not being able to login to the CEAC website right away? I'm worried this could delay the process. Should I keep calling?

usually the case is the numbers were misread wrong but since you've eliminated that it could be because they haven't put everything into the system yet which could take several days I think they say like a week on average if you still have this problem towards the end of the week then yeah I would call.

yeah i was thinking that too. Was just worried cause most people can input theirs right away T_T

Might be cause it's still fresh. I'll give it til Friday then I'll call again. Thanks for the input!

once the case and invoice number is assign you should be able to log on right away as your case will of been added then.

I will call to make sure you got the right numbers and explain to the NVC that you are having trouble login in

Yup, i did that already. I called again and the numbers were correct. The representative on the phone even tried it on her computer and she got the same error. She said to call next week if it still won't work. I'm planning to call this Friday or earlier if I get impatient haha

I guess I'll just have to wait for a bit and hope i can get in this week

I tried to put in my number a few minutes ago and I didnt get any results either.

"Your search did not return any data."

Previously I could reach my status, so I'm sure my number is right (just like you are sure yours is good too). Something must be wrong with their website. All I can suggest is try again later. I'll do the same

I tried it now, still doesn't work whoever made my numbers must have not put it in the system, or the one they're giving me is wrong (
All i can do is wait and pray . But thank you for the input

hey guys I called up again cause I was getting impatient, the nice lady on the phone instructed me to email NVC with a screenshot in PDF format of the error code to asknvc@state.gov. Is that the correct email add of the NVC or is it NVCINQUIRY@state.gov? Im confused cause i cant find asknvc@state.gov anywhere on VJ. But i know there's an ASK NVC on their website but it wont allow me to upload files. Delayed due to a stupid numbers issue

Hello acnobile, I am still experiencing the error. We are not the only ones experiencing this, I"m currently having correspondence with another VJ matter as she is experiencing this as well. When was your case assigned? Mine was assigned on May 1, up til now cant get in. Got in touch with a supervisor this morning. She said to try later tonight or Monday. I hope it works. If you call and it hasn't been one week since the case was assigned all they will tell you to do is wait or email NVC.

Exactly haha. I got my welcome letter emails yesterday too. So today was the last straw, i needed to get to a supervisor. Hopefully by monday things will be okay. Update me if u ever get in. Ill do the same good luck to us!
