Good Evening, I had my interview on March 23 in Manila, Philippines. The interviewer said that I was approved but needed one more document (Police report from another country where I lived) along with my passport, (CEAC status changed to AP).

I sent the document a couple of days later, it was received by the embassy (Status Still on AP but modified April 8th 2015). I keep checking with CEAC status and it kept on getting modified but always same status (April 8, then April 15).

On April 22 Case Status changed to Ready (for interview again) and then again the Case status was modified on april 28 but still reads Ready (to schedule interview).

I called over and over again but all i get is just be patient and that they are still processing your visa.

Has anyone experienced the same scenario? I wish I could just get a straight answer so I can plan ahead. It's this not knowing when or what that is driving me crazy.

Thank you all in advance.

Not me personally, but I have seen multiple other posts regarding status going back and forth between ready and AP prior to showing issued. I would say all the updating means they are working on it. Sometimes sending in documents after the interview holds things up a bit. Stay positive, bet you will see issued very soon!

Thanks Deon,

it's just that the not knowing part is so frustrating.

Waiting and the unknown is the most difficult part of this entire process. Updating is a good sign that at least they are working on it and hopefully you will here any time now. While we were going through the visa process I tried to keep myself as busy as I could and I never checked my status after the first few days as I was starting to drive myself crazy. Unfortunately no one can tell you how long it will be but as I stated above, updating is a good sign they are indeed working on your case. Good luck and keep us updated! Edited by mimolicious

According to the USEM website it can add significant delay, most times expect a few weeks after they receive the requested document. As long as the date keeps changing that means someone is looking at your file, which is a very good thing.

And here it goes again. It was modified again today but still says Ready and nothing other than the modification date has changed.

Is it possible that they could be requesting me to get another appointment or pay another fee?? I get my 221G in an email so I would assume they would ask for something else if they found that something else is missing through email? right?

Thank you all for the replies and the encouragement
